This download contains following sounds: initial/final: p, b, m; final: n, t, d; initial/medial/final: k, g, f, v, l, s, z, ch, j, th, sh; pre-vocalic r; vocalic r (er, ar, or, air, ear, ire); rblends; lblends; sblends (separate mats for sp, st, sm, sn, sk, sl, sw, mixed). Materials Needed: Ink pad or paint, fishy thumbprint articulation pages Optional Assembly: You can also place in a sheet protector or laminate to use with play dough. To use: The student will practice the word and then make a thumbprint scale on the oval over the word. The student will place their thumb on an ink pad and then stamp it in the paper. Use the blank template as a craft or reinforcer with any activity (or write your own target words on them). Variations: Use paint instead of ink Use play dough to smash to make the scales.
