30 Ways to Craft & Decorate With Wine Corks
Lately I've been experimenting with watercolors. It's been a fun process with lots of mixed results! I've been cutting down my watercolors to make cards that fit in my library drawer. Each day I pull a card and write an inspiration or affirmation to a card. I found that Mykonos compliments the vivid colors that i've been drawn to paint with and have been the papers to add something fun to each card as I go. Can you spot the hysterical mustache made from Mykonos papers? project done by Mou S.
What???? Ranger's DIMENSIONAL PEARLS that is! There are several colors in the product collection, and i used TERRA COTTA on this project. Ranger also just released new colors in the LIQUID PEARLS line, and i can't wait to try them with this technique. This creamy, thick pearlescent paint has a ultra thin tip perfect for drawing lines. I drew these journal pages with the pearls first and let it dry overnite. When completely dry i was able to go in with watercolors and color the images. Great dimensions, it's like a coloring book with raised lines! I have a whole batch more drying today, and will share when they are done. This technique is be great for your own custom embellishments, cards, journal pages, etc. ©joanne sharpe 2010
Hi guys - it's been way too long that I have posted, so I decided I would share a project I had done for a class. Stampin' Up! has this cool die called "Card, Telephone & Address", well really it should just be called the "Rolodex Die" because the pieces cut with it fit perfectly into to Rolodex systems. Many, many months ago I saw this idea by my friend Jeannette Swain (my Hawaii buddy) and knew I had to use her idea and make one similar. Thanks for coming up with this great idea! Here is my version of it: And here are a few other views: What I absolutely love about this project is that you can cut out photos with the die and add the birthday info right onto it with a label maker :-) You could even just make a whole "photo album" with it that way - what great gifts you could make!
