During the 1930s the London Midland & Scottish Railway (LMSR) and the London North Eastern Railway (LNER) issued a range of joint publications for areas they both served - such as London & Scotland. The Scotland brochure was an annual publication featuring a striking colour cover by different artists. On this gorgeous illustration of a bridge and Highland scenery the artist is J Mace.
