I was instantly drawn to this Stamp/Die bundle, simple lined images just shouting out for colour to be added! This month, for my Facebook Live Stamp & Chat sessions, I’ve made some changes. Each month I will focus on two stamp bundles and create projects with them during my “live” events, so you will see ... Read More about Hand-Penned Petals from Stampin’ Up!
Hello & welcome! Today I have a sweet & fun card to share with you - my Just Add Ink Design Team project for this week's colour challenge and made for my darling man. It's a very supply friendly card, combining the cute & new to me Badger Besties stamp set with my well used fave, Biggest Wish, plus ink and card in Polished Pink and Soft Succulent. Some gold Gilded Leafing adds a luxe touch. And no dies or punches were needed - surprise! Here's my finished card. Let's start with the cute badger pair. I stamped two of the three badger images in the set with Memento black ink and coloured them using my Watercolour Pencils (black, gray & white). I didn't wet the image as I was trying to create the look of fur/hair (do badgers have fur or hair?). Then some fussy cutting & grumbling commenced as I'm a bit rusty, but I got there in the end. To create the background I stamped a cluster of both 'happy' sentiments in the Biggest Wish set. All the block letter images were stamped off first onto scrap. The script 'happy' is full strength. The cluster of words was inspired by the messy grid paper on my desk which had image tests from one of my World Card Making Day projects. Inspiration is everywhere I tell you. Check out Instagram to see what I worked on. The strips of coloured card anchor the badgers on the card, and the gold Gilded Leafing added touches of lovely shine. This was my first play with the leafing and oh my goodness what a mess I made. It does add a nice touch though don't you think? Inside is very simple, replicating the pink strip & stamp cluster, but it all adds to the coordination. So that's my take on the colour challenge. I hope my darling man loves his card as much as I enjoyed making it. Remember to check out the Just Add Ink blog to see all the beautiful cards created by the Team. It's always fun to see how everyone uses the same colours. Thanks for visiting today and I hope my card has given you some ideas to try. To try your own creation, head to my SU website to see and order all the supplies you need to make it. Leave a comment if you have any questions or just to say hi. Hello and welcome to my Stampin' Up! Artisan Design Team project for June. I'm Angela Meiritz-Reid from Christchurch, New Zealand and I am so excited to be part of this amazing team of talented Stampin' Up! demonstrators from around the world. This month my projects were created using the Beauty of Friendship Bundle from the new 2021-22 Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue. I chose the colours for my cards to co-ordinate with the colours in the Pattern Party Designer Series Paper - Pool Party, Petal Pink and Flirty Flamingo! The tree was die cut three times with Basic White Cardstock that had the Adhesive Sheet on it. I carefully peeled the back off the Adhesive Sheet and layered them up on top of each other. The Adhesive Sheets make adhering fine die cuts so easy and clean! To create an autumnal feel to my tree, I water-coloured a piece of Shimmery White Cardstock with Petal Pink and Flirty Flamingo inks before die-cutting it. I love using colours outside the Suite, especially ones that you wouldn't necessarily expect the image to be - there really are no rules! Thanks for stopping by and I look forward to sharing my future projects with you. Please pop over to the Stampin' Up! Facebook page here to check out all this month's projects by the team. Morning everyone! This weeks fun choose two challenge over at Just Add Ink is from Di. She has suggested we choose two of the elements and add them to our projects. I have gone with Stitching (Stitched Rectangle dies) and paper strips (Tidings of Christmas dsp) to create a festive project for this weeks challenge...Clean and simple and a start on my Christmas cards! I've also added some silver foil as one of the strips and a pretty diecut star from the "Tidings & Trimmings" bundle, with a greeting from the retired Peace & Joy stamp set. Lots of lovely projects from the team, you can see those by clicking on the link above. Thanks for stopping by! All supplies used are Stampin Up!

Hello and thanks for visiting! Today's card is inspired by Freshly Made Sketches #490 - A sketch by Jen T. Please click on either my card or the FMS image to visit their blog post. I hope my card inspires you to give this sketch a try. I really wanted to created a dark background for this card to enhance the jungle feel but the challenge is to "keep it clean" and utilize the white space of the card. So I decided to emboss the Basic White layer with the new Bark 3D Embossing Folder to add depth, dimension and flow with the hanging green vines, which are part of the sketch. This stamp set wasn't my first choice in the new Annual Catalogue but I am so glad I've bought it now! Its fresh and a little different, I know it will push my creativity. The Designer Series Paper within the suite is gorgeous. I haven't even played with the embossing folder yet. Click here, Lesley's Online Store to purchase the In The Wild Suite. And here's the card details: 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 Thick Basic White card base (4 1/4 x 11 folded in half) 4 1/8 x 5 3/8 Basic White cardstock (CS) layer Wild Cats Bundle (stamp set and matching dies) Bark 3D Embossing Folder Ink Pads: Crushed Curry; Cinnamon Cider, Evening Evergreen; Soft Succulent Memento Black ink pad Blending Brushes **Click here, Lesley's online store to purchase the Wild Cats Bundle. Please use the monthly Host Code (found on the top right side bar of this blog) and I will send you a little thank you gift in the mail the following month. Assembly & Trix: * Stamp the vine image on the right side of the card as per the sketch image using soft Succulent ink. * Emboss the Basic White CS layer with the 3D Embossing Folder and blend Soft Succulent ink on the vine images and very lightly across the card to unify the colouring a bit. * Adhere to the card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue (glue) * Stamp the tiger using Crushed Curry ink. ***Trix, I also dabbed on a bit of Cinnamon cider to enhance the coloring, hoping this appeared a bit more realistic. * Stamp the stripes of the tiger using Memento Black ink. This set is so versatile, you can create a tiger or a leopard, both images are included, it terrific! * Stamp the succulent plants using Evening Evergreen and die cut out. * Adhere the tiger and plants using Stampin' Dimensionals. * Stamp the Sentiment using Evening Evergreen ink and adhere using dimensionals. *****Oh and don't forget, the products in the Mini Catalogue (January to June) are retiring so available On Sale and while supplies last. #1 Stampin' Up! UK Demonstrator Pootles - Pootlers Team Blog Hop Annual Catalogue Showcase! I thoroughly adore working with my remarkable team. They
Hello and welcome to Kylie and Bruno's Demonstrator Training Blog Hop for July! We are a group of Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrators from all over the world sharing our love of stamping. We are all part of Kylie & Bruno Bertucci’s training group where we are having a great time learning and growing our Stampin’ Up!® businesses. If this is the first time you are visiting my blog, welcome! My name is Anne Marie Hile and I live in Texas in the United States. I’m so glad you stopped by today! You may be starting here or have arrived from another blog - either way, you can find the link list of all of the participants at the bottom of this post. Happy Hopping! Our theme for this blog hop is “Thank You”, specifically the thank you cards we are making to share with our customers this month. I decided to use one of my favorite suites in the Stampin’ Up!® Annual Catalog for my cards. The In Symmetry stamp set and coordinating Symmetrical Stems Border Punch are amazing for fun and whimsical floral images and the sentiments really pop. I always love a good font for sentiments and this one is gorgeous! The stamps and punch are sold separately OR can be purchased together in a bundle for 10% off. *I’ve listed all of the measurements and details for my card below and there is a full supply list at the very end of this post. Color Combo: Just Jade Flirty Flamingo Bumble Bee Night of Navy I just love the bright and cheery colors on this card! The Sweet Symmetry Designer Series Paper in this suite coordinates beautifully with the stamps and punch. Using a little or a lot of the DSP can create such different looks. This DSP is also on sale for an extra 15% off through August 2nd, which is great if you like to hoard…I mean, collect DSP like I do. Haha! Tipping my hat to Kylie & Bruno, I decided to “love it and chop it” and showcase the DSP on these cards. There is also a coordinating Flirty Flamingo Metallic Ribbon in this suite and if you’ve ever visited me before, I never say no when pink ribbon is involved. I just love how the metallic accents make the ribbon extra-fancy, too. Originally I had a bow on the card but the ribbon felt a little distracting, so I opted to add a little “zig-zag” pattern of the ribbon behind the sentiment instead. I also added some gold Metallic Pearls to compliment the gold in the ribbon. The punched leaves and the center of the largest flower are accented with Wink of Stella Glitter Brush because well, you just can’t go wrong with some extra sparkle! :) Card Measurements and Details: Just Jade Card Base: 4-1/4” x 11”, scored at 5-1/2” and folded in half to create card base Flirty Flamingo Cardstock: 4” x 5-1/4” Sweet Symmetry Designer Series Paper (pink pattern): 3-7/8” x 5-1/8” Flirty Flamingo Cardstock: 3-7/8” x 7/8”, embossed using the polka dots from the Checks & Dots Embossing Folders Sweet Symmetry Designer Series Paper (green pattern): 2-5/8” x 4”, die cut the second largest scalloped rectangle from the Stitched So Sweetly Dies Basic White Cardstock: 1-15/16” x 3-5/16”, stamp stems, leaves and flowers Basic White Cardstock: scrap to stamp the larger flower in Flirty Flamingo ink, color center with Dark Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends (it’s close to Bumblebee), fussy-cut with paper Snips, accent with Wink of Stella and adhere with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Just Jade Cardstock: scrap to punch out three leaves, accent with Wink of Stella Bumblebee Cardstock: 3” x 7/8”, stamp sentiment in Night of Navy ink and banner punch either end using the Tailored Tag Punch Flirty Flamingo ribbon and Metallic Pearls Basic White Cardstock (inside card): 4” x 5-1/4” Sweet Symmetry Designer Series Paper (pink pattern, inside card): 3/4” x 5-1/4” Finally, a look inside the card! I simply added another strip of that fun Designer Series Paper and some stamped leaves and hearts. Everything is more fun when you add hearts, right? I decided not to add a sentiment to allow room for a handwritten thank you note to share with my awesome customers letting them know how much I appreciate their support of my business. Thank you so much for stopping by our blog hop! Leave me a message to say hello and to let me know you visited today. Please click on the links below to “hop” along to see what all of these awesome demonstrators have shared this month. You are going to LOVE their projects, for sure! Good Evening Everyone, I'm taking part in the Stamping with Friends blog hop and we all are CASEing the Catalogue. CASEing is interpreted in a few different ways, but the main ways are Copy And Share Everywhere or Copy And Selectively Edit. Depending on your mojo and how your want to you can do it whichever you prefer, but it is really important that whoever you CASE is given credit for the original design or Idea. Here's My version.... The Card I decided to CASE uses In the Wild suite. I chose to switch up the design slightly along with the colours. I used the same DSP as the catalogue but pulled out different colours from it to create a slightly different colour combo, based on the Colours that appear within the In the Wild DSP. I also didn't have the same embossing folder. This is the card from pg 23 of the Annual Catalogue, which is show with the Dragonfly Garden Bundle. Measurements Cajun Craze Card Stock 1pc- 4 1/8" x 11 3/4", scored at 5 7/8" 1pc - 5 5/8" x 3 7/8" Basic White Cardstock 1pc - 5 5/8" x 3 7/8" 1pc - 2 3/4" x 5" scraps In the Wild DSP 1pc - 5 /8" x 5 5/8" 1pc - 3 1/4" x 5" ------------------------------- Take the larger piece of Cajun Craze card stock and fold along the score line to create your card base. Ink up the Dragonfly stamp in Merry Merlot and stamp a small portion of in into the lower right hand corner of the largest Basic White piece and add the thin 5/8" strip of DSP below to run flush with the bottom edge. Add this to the inside of the card. Run the remaining piece of Cajun Craze through your Cut & Emboss machine in the Painted Texture embossing folder and add to the card front. Stamp the sentiment in Evening Evergreen ink into the bottom right hand corner of the remaining piece of Basic White - layer this onto the DSP and then add this to the card front at an angle. On scraps of Basic White stamp out three dragonflies - one in each of the following - Crushed Curry, Merry Merlot & Cajun Craze, then cut out using the Dragonfly Punch. Add these to the card front using dimensionals. Finally add a few rhinestones. I hope you enjoyed today's card. Please continue through the hop to find some more inspiration. Good Afternoon Everyone, Today I'm hopping with the fabuous Ink Stamp Share ladies adn we have a colour challenge! You kno wme, I love a good colour challenge and this one is FAB!. I dug out the All Things Fabulous stamp set because I hadn't used it in a while and as it is a triple stet stamp set, I thought the colour given would work perfectly - and I think they did. What do you think? Measurements Rich Razzleberry Card Stock 1pc - 4 1/8" x 11 3/4", scored at 5 7/8" scraps Basic White Card Stock 2pc - 5 5/8" x 3 7/8" scraps ---------------------------- Take the Rich Razzleberry Card stock and fold along the score line to create your card base. Add on of the Basic White pieces to the inside. On the other piece, cover it with flowers and leaves from the All Things Fabulous stamp set. I find it easier to start with the solid image and work to the smallest detailed image, but you can do it the other way if that is easier for you. The solid image is stamped in Petal Pink, the larger detailed stamp is done in 2nd generation (stamped off onto scrap paper once before adding to your piece) Polished Pink and the third is 'full strength' Polished pink. The leaves are stamped in both Soft Succulent and Soft Sea Foam. On scrap strips of baisc white stamp the two sentiments in soft succulent ink, making sure you leave a fair bit of blank card eitheer side. layer these on to scraps of Rich Razzleberry card stock and then add to the stamped panel. Trim off any over hanging pieces then add the whole thing to your card front. I hope you enjoyed today's card, please continue through the hop and take a look at a whole load of inspiration for these colours. Annette is up next. Check out the sale flyer here, Download 07.01.21_FLYER_DSPSALE_US You can die cut your tigers right from the designer series paper. I did the reverse facing tiger by holding the paper up to a light source and placed my die, holding it with Washi Tape. Then run through the Cut & Emboss machine. Some of my cards...

A wonderful customer messaged me over the weekend to ask if Stampin' Up! has ever had any stamp sets that feature coneflowers. Ever the not-a-botanist, I turned to Google to find out what a coneflower looks like so I could hopefully point her to some retired coneflower stamp sets. My
