A well-decorated entryway creates a warm and inviting atmosphere for both residents and guests. Here are some entryway ideas to inspire you.
Inspired by the night sky, New Ravenna founder Sara Baldwin designed Trove, a collection of six new mosaics handcrafted from natural stone with brass and aluminium details. Astronomy (shown) and Orion feature sparkling stars against a pitch-black Nero Marquina marble. Michael and Simone tiles use cloudy, gray-blue marbles such as Bardiglio and Pacifica to emulate a moody sky. Collins and Hudson utilize geometric patterns and diamond shapes with Calacatta Gold and Brass or Basalto and Aluminum.
Mario Cucinella Architects and WASP have tamed up to conceive the first 3D printed house made from local earth.
Annie and Jamie's home is located in the Melbourne bayside suburb of Beaumauris and is testament to the couple's love of modernist design.
This transitional cottage gives you 3 beds, 2 baths and a total of 2,248 square feet of heated living spread across the main level and the finished lower level. A closet in the foyer helps control clutter and an arched opening leads you to the open concept layout in back. Sliding doors on the back wall take you to a patio while the island in the kitchen gives you not only great workspace but also seating for up to five people. In the back-right corner, a flex room makes a great work-from-home space. The master suite is the only bedroom of the three on the main floor and with Beds 2 and 3 in the lower level sharing a bath. Laundry and a large family room complete the lower level.
