On May 23, Mother Seton School students were treated to a visit from Morgan Cox, the starting long snapper for the Baltimore Ravens. Cox was invited to speak as part of a show-and-tell presentation by second-grader Sophia Launchi. After show-and-tell in Sophia’s classroom, where he spoke with Danielle Kirby’s second-grade class and signed autographs, Cox addressed the entire school in the auditorium. After introducing himself, he fielded questions from the students about his career, his personal life, and what it’s like to be an NFL star. After the assembly, Cox stood in the back and shook every students’ hand, and allowed those interested to try on his Super Bowl championship ring. He also stayed awhile longer to lead the second grade in their warm-ups at the start of gym class and to demonstrate the long snap for them.
