The Log Cabin Quilt Block is a perfect block. Once mastered, you can stop there because it's almost impossible to run out of ways to make log cabin quilts.
BLOCK SIZE: 12" square (excluding seam allowances) TECHNIQUE: machine piecing using squares and rectangles. The pattern contains instructions for cutting out the pieces using a rotary cutter and quilting ruler. It does not contain any templates. This pattern contains some small pieces, the smallest of which is 1" square. As with all patchwork, for best results, cut and piece accurately.
