Este tipo de costura es muy practica sobre todo para lanas muy gruesas. El sito donde la aplicamos queda totalmente liso y no se ve. Al principio puede resultar complicada pero merece la pena aprenderlo Para esta costura se puede dejar los puntos sin cerrar en las agujas o bien cerrarlos con un trocito de lana de otro color en contraste con la labor, luego esta lana se quita. En los dos métodos los puntos se cogen de la misma manera, para mi es mas cómodo hacerlo con los puntos cerrados. Al llegar con la labor al final dejamos un trozo de lana (como mínimo 3 veces mas largo que el ancho de la pieza que vamos a unir) y la cortamos. Cerramos los puntos con otro color de lana, enhebramos la aguja, colocamos las dos piezas: una en frente del otra de manera que la aguja con la lana se quede por el derecho y empezamos a coser. Grafting para Punto Jersey Derecho. Empezamos por el punto desde el que sale la lana , lo cogemos de abajo a arriba y pasamos a la otra pieza, cogemos el primer punto de abajo a arriba y* volvemos a la pieza anterior, pinchamos dentro del mismos punto que antes y sin sacar la aguja cogemos el punto siguiente. Pasamos al otro lado, pinchamos el ultimo punto que ya hemos pinchado una vez y sin sacar la aguja cogemos el punto siguiente de abajo arriba* repetimos la operación hasta final. Cuando no nos queda ningún punto volvemos a pinchar en el ultimo de un lado y luego el ultimo del otro lado. Rematalos la hebra. (hay que pinchar cada punto dos veces) Grafting para Punto Jersey Revés. Empezamos igual por el lado donde la hebra pero el primer punto lo cogemos de arriba a abajo, pasmos al otro lado y cogemos el primer punto también de arriba a abajo y sin sacar la aguja pinchamos dentro del primer punto de la otro pieza. Sacamos la aguja, pinchamos el siguiente punto del mismo lado de arriba a abajo y sin sacar la aguja pinchamos el últimos punto que hemos pinchado de la otra parte de abajo a arriba*,repetimos hasta final.También se puede dar la vuelta el tejido y hacer el Grafting de punto Jersey Derecho Grafting para Punto Bobo Aquí existen dos movimientos. Los puntos que se presentan al revés se vuelven a coger al derecho (como en grafting del Punto J.Der).Los puntos que se presenta al derecho se los coge al revés. Grafting para Punto Elástico Aquí hay que combinar los dos métodos de coger los puntos al derechos o al revés teniendo en cuanta el numero de cada clase de puntos.
