Today is World Autism Awareness Day! How will you show your support? As teachers, as parents, and as friends....we all know someone that is effected by Autism. Two of our very own Freebielicious authors teach students with special needs. I think that we would all agree, these teachers are pretty amazing people. Erin from Creating and Teaching and Mandy from A Special Kind of Class Don't get me wrong...I think all teachers are amazing! I used to teach early childhood BD. The paperwork, the data keeping, the meetings, the formalities of what you can and can not say...can be more than a bit stressful. :-) Do you teach children with Autism? Do you have a family member diagnosed with Autism? We would love to hear your story! Lidia Barbosa, one of our very own freebielicious authors, created these adorable bears!
