Get your pen, because the Wee Are The World pals are back and ready to correspond with you and your neighbors, near and far. I have twelve stationery sets of Wee Are The World kids, one for each pal from the collection. They are the sweetest, little sets for you to get and share with you local pals and friends across the seas. If you like them all you can even get the complete Wee stationery sets for a special deal. The stationery sets are now available at Lettering Delights and you can get right to them by clicking on my Sheri’s Creations sign at right or click here. Each stationery set comes with a card, two notes, three labels and an envelope. You can see each of these sets below, complete with all seven pieces. The sets available are Frenchy, Mukluk, Sushi, Tajie, Nina, Bongo, Tiki, Poncho, Dutchy, Java, Tawni and Cairo. They are only grouped in pairs below to save space, but are sold individually on LD. Below is a sample of one stationery set similar to what you will get from LD. You will simply print, trim, fold, and glue the pieces. The only thing left to do is write to your pals and send. Please note, these envelopes cannot be sent in the mail as is, they are legally too small, and of course the free postage stamps cannot be used for actual postage. They are just for cuteness sake. :) Above is a sample of the Mukluk set; trimmed, folded, and ready for use. I also have a freebie to share! It is a set of twelve postage stamps to complete the sets. The postage stamps are designed to match the wee kids, and you can download them free here or at my U-Pick sign (at right, then choose the file title WeePostageStamps) to help decorate your wee envelopes. You can reduce the file before printing to 50% to get a traditional stamp size, or keep the art at full size as a mini global gallery or other crafting projects. Sample of free wee postage stamps (above); you must click on my U-Pick sign (at right) to download the file. Head on over to LD to get these darling pen pal sets from the twelve global kids and share the joy of letter writing on mini cards and stationery. Think of it as a mini break from typing and texting, but an enjoyable one for you and your recipients!

Today I want to share with you some details found in my most recent Project Life album. An 8x8 album. See, this is how it goes: when I have a lot of photos that need to tell a story, I go for an album. An album by definition is a collection. Today's album has almost 50 photos. Now I call that a collection, right?!? Not only am I happy to have all these photos printed and in one place, but the use of 4x4 and 2x2 pockets to make it all fit even more perfectly, well, that is just eye candy waiting to happen. Would you like to see the details of this book? A girlfriend's trip to the South. (um...that would be Charleston, South Carolina for those of you who live in the Southern Hemisphere.) First I will show you the format that all the pages will be following. Then I will take you through each page and point out the details. So ya might wanna grab a cuppa. There is a lot to share. So this is a very fancy diagram of my page flow. If you follow me at all, you know that I typically create mini albums with a page flow. Each divided section in my album is equal to one day. The very first page is a Heidi Swapp Project Life Tab Divider. I used the clear ones. Next there is an 8x8 page protector. An enlarged photo on one side and a traditional layout on the other. The next two pages are the 4x4 pocket page protectors. Then, on those pages may be a 2x2 page protector that I used the with the Fuse. Then... the sections start all over again. Here is the first clear Tab Divider. It already has the 'right here & now' embossed on the front. I am going to highlight tips for these pages with an asterick ( * ). Are ya ready? Deep breath... *Place clear stickers on the clear Tab Divider to add more interest. *Mix in traditional scrapbook pages with the Project Life Pages, as seen here on the back side of the 8x8 pocket page. *Keep is simple and crop your photos (or use your Instagram images) to 4x4 and slip them right in the pockets. The emphasis here are the photos! *Slip a Wood Card in a pocket. Use an overlay (bon jour) right on top as an embellishment. *On the back side of the Wood Card, keep it exposed, and add a Gold Sticker with an enamel heart. You don't even have to take the card back out of the pocket, place it right on top of the pocket. *Use Alpha Stickers to designate the day of the week. *Add stamps + Phrase Stickers + Alpha Stickers to customize journal cards. That is the end of the first divided section. Now it starts all over again. A clear Tab Divider, and the rest follows. *Adhere photos right on the clear Tab Divider. *The 'reality check' is a clear 3x4 card, use it as a page embellishment. *The Overlay cards come 6x4. Trim to 4x4-inches to fit a 4x4 pocket. Allow a photo from another page to show through. Don't have photos that fit a 4x4 ratio? *Trim photo to 3x4 and Fuse a 3x4 Photo Sleeve to the page. Slip photo on the top, filler card on the back, and journaling underneath. *Trim down 6x4 journal cards to fit the 4x4 pockets. Even the graphic cards, they make for great journaling spaces too. *Fuse a 2x2 pocket on top of a 4x4 pocket. Gives more room for more photos. *Add additional stickers to the Tab Dividers. *Use a 4x4 Overlay to simply dress up a photo. Sometimes less is more. *Add journaling to a 3x4 card. Slip inside the 4x4 pocket and staple in place. Last tip for today... *Add a clear sticker to the back of a journal card and write on it too! Well that is more than a couple of ways (16 to be exact) around a Project Life album. I hope a couple are useful for you and your memories. supplies: Project Life: Tab Dividers. Gold Phrase Stickers. Gold Stickers. 8x8 Page Protectors. Color Shine. Fill In The Blank Value Kit. Bright Overlays Value Kit. 4x4 Word Cards. 4x4 Overlays and Page Protectors. Prismatic Core Kit. Washi Tape.

My Project Life albums are very photo heavy this year. Since I decided to use the 4x6 slots as full sized photos, I feel like my photos are taking the front stage this year and I love that! Not to mention that it makes printing my photos and putting my spreads together so much easier. One thing I have noticed, though, is that I'm not always present in my album. My voice is there because I'm telling these stories though my eyes, but I don't have very many photos of me in our everyday life. With May being National Photography Month, I decided to challenge myself to capture one photo of my daily life each day. It was quite a project to undertake (although it totally doesn't sound like it should have been, but it was...). But like most projects, it was so super rewarding and I am so thankful I have these memories documented! The photos are so fun to look back on and I love that I have one photo for each day of May! To keep myself accountable and also to have a daily reminder to capture a photo, I used the Collect App on my iPhone. I love that I got a little message every afternoon asking me if I had "collected" my photo for the day. It was easy to remember to snap a photo at the beginning of the month because the project was fun and new, but after a few weeks, it slipped my mind almost every day. The Collect App is great because it gives you a thumbnail calendar photo throughout the month, so you can track your progress and see your library of photos grow. I knew I wanted to keep all of these photos together in my Project Life album, so I decided to print them out in the Collect App style with the photo caption and date included on each picture. It's super easy to export the photos to your camera roll once you figure out the settings. Here are my steps for exporting to my camera roll. When you are ready to export your photos, click the little box with the arrow in the bottom left hand corner of the calendar screen. A window will open up on your screen and you will have several options. Click the "export photos" option. Select the starting and ending date for the photos you would like to export. (The photo calendar will open up and you can select your dates). The Collect App offers several different styles and photos sizes with various fonts. They are all pretty cool, but Annette is my favorite. :) Since I had so many photos, I decided to stick with the 3x4 Polaroid style, but the other options are just as awesome! Click "Export style" to see options and choose which one you like best! The last thing to do is click "Export" at the bottom of your screen. Your start/end dates and the export style should be all set and ready to go! Once the images are on my camera roll, I just export them to my home computer and then print two 3x4 photos per 4x6 piece of photo paper! It seems like a lot of steps, but it really is an easy process!! I used two Project Life Design F page protectors for my photos. I trimmed the far right column off of each one to give me three rows and three columns. That left with me a few extra pockets, so I added in a title, journaling card and some embellishments from the July Gossamer Blue kits. I kept the embellishments rather simple since the pages themselves are so photo and text heavy. Simple stickers around my page added a little detail, but didn't make my pages too busy. Since all of the photos have a caption and date, I slipped a Gossamer Blue journaling card into a pocket and added a quick little note about the process and photos. I love that I have these photos. Taking a photo a day is kind of draining, but looking back, I'm so thankful I did this project!!
