Estonia is a child of the last Ice Age. Not only bogs, but the entire Estonian landscape was shaped by glaciers that stretched south from Scandinavia. At the shore of the Baltic coast, many large boulders that are Ice Age remnants can be found to this day.

If you are looking for a resource that helps students master comparative and superlative adjectives , this resource might be quite helpful. It is both printable and digital. It has differentiated practice with mini-task cards. interactive flip-up, and printables. I included a mix of irregular adjectives, one-syllable adjectives, and multi-syllable adjectives with -y endings. THERE ARE SEVEN PAGES THAT ARE DIGITAL AND NO PREP. THEY ARE READY TO ASSIGN TO YOUR STUDENT DEVICES. Upon purchase, just click view files on this product page. You will see the PDF file and Easel file. In the Easel file you can assign whatever pages you choose. When you click the "assign" tab you will get a code for Google Classroom. If you want to add more pages, go back to the "edit" pages tab and add pages from the original version. I have spent a small fortune in printing ink and decided to create mini-task cards (approximately 2"X 3") to save paper and ink. The cards can be cut out and glued onto 3"X5" index cards if you want them to be bigger for a center. Another way to use them would be to leave them on one sheet and have students complete them that way. I added a page of core standards, ESL Insights (a guide to help teach ELL students with this product), a sentence writing practice page, and an interactive flip-up for notebooks. Here's what is included: 1. Nine mini-task cards with recording sheet 2. Comparative, superlative sort with mixed adjective types 3. Words in context non-fiction story with fill in the blank 4. Complete the comparative/superlative table with one syllable adjectives 5. 2 PAGES: Circle the best choice comparative/superlative 6. Sentence writing practice 7. Complete the chart practice 8. core standards 9. ESL Insights 10. Interactive notebook flip-ups 11. Seven digital Easel pages There are 25 PRINTABLE PDF pages total which include a title page and credit pages with 20 pages of printable material. I sometimes print the title pages of my products and laminate them to pocket folders. Then I get pouches or envelopes for the small pieces and make copies of the other pages for instant centers. There are answer keys for each page including the task cards except for the sentence writing page. Core standards: CCSS.ELA-LITERACY.L.2.4.B Determine the meaning of the new word formed when a known prefix is added to a known word (e.g., happy/unhappy, tell/retell). ***DIY PRINTABLE INSTANTLY DOWNLOAD AFTER PAYMENT IS RECEIVED!*** This paper doll was made from my original illustration and, when assembled, is about 9" tall. Saint Christina lived in Italy during the 3rd century. Her father was a rich, powerful, and demanding man. He decided that his daughter would become a priestess of the pagan faith he practiced. Christina, however, had learned about Jesus Christ from the Christian missionaries, and had grown to love the Christian faith. She left the tower her father had kept her in, and went out to bring Christianity to the world. She took the gold and silver idols her father had commanded her to worship, and had them broken into pieces, which she gave to the poor so they could pay for food, clothing, and shelter. When Christina’s father discovered what she had done, he was infuriated. Since he was a magistrate, he had her thrown into prison, and he used the full force of the law to try to change her mind about Christianity. Christina did not change her mind, however. When she had lived in the tower, she had spent her long, quiet, hours in meditation. She looked on all the beautiful aspects of the world–the stars, flowers, and people, and she did not believe that golden statues had created such a world. She believed that the true Creator was someone more loving, powerful, and mysterious than humankind could ever fully understand, and she did her best to learn about Him and to love Him. Christina’s father died, but her sufferings were not over. The new judge was just as determined to make her abandon her faith. He tried many different tortures, but Christina was either saved from them or was able to endure them bravely, as Christ endured the pain of the cross. But at last, sometime between the ages of eleven and fourteen, she was taken to Tyre (a city in modern-day Lebanon) and was martyred there. Her feast-day is July 24. If you are studying or teaching BSL and want a simple way to understand and memorise signs, expressions and meanings of every day words, this bundle of FOUR sheets with several high frequency SIGNS is for you. As a BSL stage II student I totally understand how difficult it is to forget all the signs learned in class as soon as one goes home. I started to take notes and then sketching the hand positions right as the tutor signed. It made all the difference! BSL is spatially based and acquired and my drawings helped me to remember where to put my hands, what to touch first and so on. I filled up 2 folders with sketched signs...and in the end everyone wanted my sketches! So, here they are! They are the results of hours of a labor of love. I hope you will find them useful, too. I tried to include different ethnicities and ages. The topic in this bundle is: foods and drinks. Food preparation types, main dishes, and simple descriptions of foods (hot, cold etc) Check out my other sets: time (yesterday, today, what is the time), 15 colours, transport, and general tips for communicating with hard of hearing people. Let me know if you have special requirements. I can also design some flashcards for your students using the images included here (to sell separately) BSL is now easier to learn! As a teacher you have my permission to print the pages for your students, but not to resell them to third parties. And now for the tech requirements: You will receive instant download files at 300 DPI (high quality) Although they have black, white and colour, you can still obtain beautiful images by printing in B/W. The images are or fit in an A4 (21 X 29.7 CM)
