Hi dear friends! It's Olga Ravenskaya here today with my new project - free form ATC set.. One of my favorite Finnabair Studio line - Art Extravagance, so I decided to create ATCs in the form of arches using different products of this line. To begin I primed mdf bases of arches and all the metal embelishments with Heavy Gesso White. Then for the first ATC I used Old Walls Texture Fantasy paste mixing Cream and Cool Grey colors. I stamped a bit using Postal set and then to intensify the texture went over the edges and surface here and there with Rose Gold and Aged Brass waxes. I painted metal flowers with Stormy Ocean, Light Patina, Pink Blush and Vintage Rose Metallique acrylic paints. And as final stamp - with the same waxes. For the second card I used Vintage Rose and Hazelnut Metallique paints to begin with. After full drying I applied over the paint beautiful and vintage looking Golden Nugget paste and in some places - White Crackle paste. As for the third card I created masonry imitation with the help of Old Walls Texture Fantasy set. Firstly I covered all the surface with Moss paste using a pallete knife, and then applied Cream paste through the brick stencil. To create an additional texture I added Art Stones of different sizes and tinted them with Spring Blossom Metallique paint. I also used Rose Gold and Aged Brass waxes for adding more interest. Hoping you've enjoyed my post! Thank you for stopping by! Olga Mixed Media Place supplies:
Hello friends, We are here today to show you more projects from our Creative Team showcasing newest Winter 2022 products. Hi creative friends! The Golden Hour Mica Powder set was the 2nd one I wanted to try immediately when I saw new release. I created something that I called Artifact, using various Mechanicals and moulds. I glued all elements together with Heavy Body Gel and applied Black Gesso. Then I colored surface with Mica's from Goden Hour set highlighted some ares with Carmine Liquid Acrylic Paint and Mahogany Antiquing Wax and I got an absolutely amazing painted surface. I hope you liked it too and you will try to create a project with this wonderful set! Their colours are so incredibly, utterly breathtaking, I think it’ll take a long, long time before I stop having this ridiculously wide smile on my face whenever I think of them. To test each set, their colours, and how they go together, I made a tag that in a way or another echoes the name of the set. The idea of each tag is the same; first some tissue paper at the bottom, primed with gesso, and a stencil with Modeling Paste on top. Then a simple collage with moulds and Mini Art Stones, attached with Heavy Body Gel, and painted all over with Mica powders mixed with Soft Matte Gel, and then some very light touches of wax for highlighting. Simple, easy, and oh, so heartwarmingly, beautifully fun. Now, the summer vibes are here. And I feel really inspired by the summer, sea and nature. My round canvas has some sea findings on the canvas. I have added crackle paste and texture paste white sand in the background. Just so fun to use items and findings that are found in the nature and sea. Here with different moulds and also some metallics. I have added colour by using Liquid Acrylic Paints. And to give my canvas extra highlight, I have used wax in the colour White Pearl and Vintage Gold. There is a video tutorial for you. Welcome to watch and enjoy.
