The EchoPlex Preamp emulates the input stage on the old EchoPlex EP-3. It provides up to 11dB of gain and is mostly used as an always on pedal to sweeten the user's tone. If you want to add the volume control, use a 500k pot and connect lug 1 at the junction of the 100n cap, 220k and 100k resistors, and run lug 2 to ground. Unless you're really sure any through-hole J201s you have on hand are in spec/authentic, I'd suggest using MMBFJ201s, which are the SMD version which are still in production and much easier to get in spec than the discontinued through-hole version. De NT1 5th gen is een grootmembraan condensatormicrofoon met een extreem groot dynamisch bereik en zowel xlr als usb aansluiting. De microfoon wordt geleverd met een SM6 shockmount met geïntegreerde popfilter, een xlr kabel en een usb-C kabel. Resolutionair Met slechts 4 dB A aan eigen ruis is de NT1 5th gen op het moment van schrijven de stilste grootmembraan condensatormicrofoon op aarde. Om optimaal gebruik te kunnen maken van het enorme dynamisch bereik is er ook niet beknibbeld op de interne preamp. De Rode Revolution preamp klinkt volkomen clean en punchy en is helemaal vrij van ruis. Een ander opzienbarend feit aan de NT1 5th gen is de resolutie. Als je de microfoon via usb gebruikt kun je opnames maken met een resolutie van 192 KHz bij 32 bit floating point. 32 bit floating point betekent dat het praktisch onmogelijk is om je opnames te oversturen. XLR en USB Trouwens, Rode heeft tussen de bedrijven door even een nieuwe connector uitgevonden: de Rode Dual Connect connector; een combinatie van xlr en usb-C. Tot nu toe was het namelijk zo dat je een keuze moest maken als je een microfoon ging kopen. Of je kiest voor een microfoon met een xlr connector die op een mixer of audio interface kunt aansluiten, of je kiest voor het gemak van een usb microfoon die je direct op je computer kunt aansluiten. De Rode NT1 5th gen kan het allebei. Van het oude euvel dat je maar één usb microfoon tegelijk kunt gebruiken is overigens ook geen sprake meer. Sluit meerdere NT1 5th gen microfoons aan op een usb-hub en ze worden samen herkend als één audio interface. NUX Stageman Floor is an analog acoustic preamp with digital effects and looper function. Its preamp, featuring a highly sensitive 3-band EQ with MID scoop toggle switch, an adjustable notch filter, and input gain control, provides ginormous headroom and delivers the sound all natural. Improved Clarity It is equipped with Chorus and Reverb effects, and each effect is designed to be controlled by only one knob. Tweaking the chorus or reverb knob from 0 to 10 will adjust multiple parameters coordinately. When you push and hold the Chorus switch, it will activate the freeze effect until you release it. High-Quality Effects, Easy Control null null Large stage volume can easily cause the acoustic guitar to feedback, which makes a lot of unwanted noise. Using the notch filter on the Stageman Floor can help you to cut the resonating frequency and make it more comfortable to play on stage. But remember that some other stage conditions can also cause signal feedback - please also check the guitar and speaker (or monitor) position, and guitar mic(s). And make sure to set everything correctly to lower the chance of causing signal feedback. And usually a guitar pick or your fingernail causes some high-frequency noise. You can use the Notch Filter to get a much better clean sound. Notch Filter null There are Gain and 3-band EQ controls on the pedal. Depending on the amplifier/speaker characteristic, playing style and acoustic guitar's body type, you can tune your sound the way you like by using the Gain knob, Bass, Middle and Treble control. You can optimize the preamp input according to your guitar pickup type by selecting Piezo or Magnetic for better signal processing. It has a built-in FX Loop that allows you to insert external effect units to the Stageman Floor by using a TRS cable. It also works great for various acoustic instruments like the violin, mandolin, banjo and many more. Versatile Preamp null null Push both the Chorus and Preamp footswitches to turn the Stageman Floor into a looper pedal with 60 seconds recording capacity and unlimited overdubs. Being a low pass filter, it lets all bass frequencies pass through up to 4Khz where it starts cutting. The cutoff point has a resonant peak that can be boosted by pulling-up on the potentiometer. The potentiometer also allows you to sweep the cutoff point(resonant peak) within a range of 100Hz to 4khz on the Neck and 220Hz to 4Khz on the Bridge.
