Lithuanian 'monai' mean magic, miracles and 'mano' means mine. The name “Mano monai” can be translated as "My miracles". You already understand that Lithuanian is my native language. The creative process for me is like a miracle. I feel very good whilst creating. I would like to mention that I have graduated from the Arts Academy in Vilnius and I understand creative work as a professional. Another miracle in my life is my place of residence and my family. La delicadeza y maestría que se necesita para crear las pequeñas esculturas que hoy os traigo al blog, es una labor tan sorprendente y novedosa, que hasta a mí me ha dejado totalmente maravillada, algo que, acostumbrada como estoy a descubrir habilidades fuera de lo común en mis búsquedas por internet, esta vez me ha llenado de admiración por estas trabajadoras de lo manual que están tan apegadas, además, a la naturaleza como me encuentro yo desde hace un tiempo ↩ Esta delicada labor de bordar en crochet sobre hojas secas, no deja de ser una técnica laboriosa y minuciosa donde su fin es crear pequeñas esculturas naturales que posteriormente se enmarcan para su mejor conservación. Para conseguir que las hojas no se deshagan durante su manejo, nada más cortarlas se lavan y se secan durante un tiempo determinado, de la misma forma que los botánicos llevan haciendo desde siempre para crear sus libros de Botánica. Es decir, se secan una a una entre hojas de papel especial que absorben su humedad utilizando una prensadora. Me pregunto si habrá que retomarla?? 👀 Pero entre todas ellas he querido destacar el minucioso y precioso trabajo de tres mujeres en concreto, que ahora mismo son las que más destacan en esta técnica tan particular y delicada: Susanne Bauer, Heather O’Donnell y Hillary Fayle. Las tres trabajan con la misma técnica, pero cada una imprime su propio estilo en cada uno de sus trabajos y para ello he recopilado algunos de sus trabajos donde podéis apreciar su diferencia 👈 Sin duda, todos preciosos y con mucha personalidad, aunque bajo mi modesta opinión, Susanne tiene una delicadeza especial a la hora de combinar varios elementos, creando efectos 2D y 3D en sus pequeñas esculturas, superponiendo distintas hojas y colores de las mismas, entretejiéndolas con suma maestría¡¡ ❥ Susanne Bauer Heather O’Donnell Hillary Fayle Espero os hayan sorprendido estos trabajos tan maravillosos tanto como a mí. No me cabe duda que la imaginación de los creadores siempre me seguirán asombrando y que gracias a internet y las redes sociales, podemos llegar hasta todos ellos y disfrutar de sus obras¡¡¡ 💢 Espero vuestras impresiones en los comentarios amigos... ☺
