WHAT YOU WILL RECEIVE. You will receive one unique handmade ceramic paintbrush holder. DIMENSIONS *9cm High *6cm Wide Fully glazed interior, half glazed exterior, suitable for any type of liquid, water, or paint. Your purchase will include a basic brush. *PLEASE CHECK SIZE some customers have said 'they are smaller than expected, but accurate as listed and perfect size regardless'. So please make sure you know what you are buying in advance to avoid disappointment. The 'Splash' 'Marbled' or 'full colour' ranges are fully glazed with a transparent glaze inside and out. DIMENSIONS *9cm High *6cm Wide *All sizes are approximate and may vary slightly due to the making and shrinkage process, but not significantly. MAKING PROCESS The photos used are examples of the colour/style. NOT THE EXACT ITEM. Due to the handmade nature of the process I use, each vessel may vary slightly from the image (but not significantly) Each colour is made by myself using a mix of coloured stains, As with all batch making, slight colour variations may occur depending on the batch. Once made each pot is lovingly squeezed to create a dimple, this helps your grip when moving, using, or cleaning it. The cutout grooves enable the user to place their brush flat, helping keep the brush in better condition. Also great for other items such as stationary, pens, make-up brushes, or even your toothbrush. I use an application process that makes each vessel unique. DISCLAIMER Please note: Due to screen variations and settings, colours may be slightly different in reality. Camera angles whilst not deliberate may not accurately reflect the true size. (I am working on finding the best balance between size and form when photographing a 3D item) So please check the dimensions carefully before purchasing. The bowl is called the mortar and the wooden dowel is called the pestle. It was used in olden times for ginding and crushing spices like cardamom, saffron, black pepper, etc. It is easy to clean and is hassle-free. r The advantage of using mortar and pestle is that it gives a better flavor out of the spices. When the spices are crushed in it, it releases more flavor and oil. My bowls are made with a 100% non-toxic stoneware clay and glazed with 100% lead-free glazes. Because my pottery is fired to such a high temperature (2205 degrees F), it is very durable. No need to hand-wash your mug, you can safely put it in the dishwasher (although I do recommend the less-abrasive hand washing). These pieces are food safe, microwave safe, refrigerator safe, dishwasher safe and can be used for both hot and cold items. PROCESS - Wheel-thrown on the potter's wheel - Hand-trimmed, then dried very slowly to prepare for bisque fire - Bisque fired to a temperature of 1945f - Hand glazed (brushed or dipped) to keep the uniqueness of the piece - Finally glaze fired so the piece is fully vitrified ABOUT YOUR PIECE My pottery is not made from molds, nor is it mass produced. Because of this, there will be some slight imperfections and/or differences in multiple pieces and no two pieces will ever look the same (which is expected in handmade pottery). Regardless, I can guarantee that your piece will have character, which you can't find in big-name stores.
