Here is a one page handout that gives illustrated step by step directions for a self-portrait drawn in Funko Pop! Style. If you've ever seen Funko Pop toys, then, you know they have super weird proportions and any and all personas and scenes can be portrayed. Real living historical figures to movie, cartoons, and book characters can be Funko Pops! This handout I made so that the student can learn a little about the proportions of the Funko Pop, and turn themselves into one. The product is differentiated so students can use whatever supplies they have at home. It teaches students how to use basic shapes to draw, but I did not add any information about adding clothing or how to draw hair. This is part of my "Draw yourself as a toy" series. It's great for a little Pop Art lesson, art occupations and design lesson, and even SEL! Others in this series include: Draw yourself as a Potato Head Draw yourself as a Playmobil Draw yourself like a Vintage Fisher Price Little People Toy Draw yourself like a Lego Brick Headz toy Draw yourself like a Rubber Ducky Everything about No Corner Suns can be found on my website! I have art teacher buttons and magnets on Etsy, and No Corner Suns and art teacher merch on Redbubble.
