Min favorit anteckningsbok "pepperpot". De är tjocka och underbara att arbeta med fimolera på samt att de är hyffsat billiga. 39kr. Tänk på när du börjar att du kan ändra och ångra dig tills du gräddar verket. Den torkar inte när du arbetar med den så arbeta i lugn och ro. Även efter perfectpearls, om det är det du använder, är det bara att knöggla ihop och börja om igen. Lek med leran!! Täck hela albumet med fimolera. Inte för tunt för då syns inte stämpelavtrycken. Leran är underbar att bygga i nivåer med. Detta kommer jag att visa ett exempel på det framöver, men när man vill använda stämplar är det ganska bra att ytan är hyffsat jämn från början. Nu kavlar jag ner stämpeln men det fungerar lika bra med att bara pressa ner med fingrarna. Mina favoritstämplar till detta är just ez monterade bakgrundsstämplar. Av någon anledning får jag till det snyggare med dem än med clearstamps. För att snygga till kanterna runt stämplingen tryckte jag ner en kedja (från min älskade partyväska). Mitt tips är använd vad ni har hemma. Nät, gafflar, spets, kjedjor, eller gubbens verktyg :) Skär sedan rent alla kanter. Uppifrån och ner. Skär sedan ut hålen för pärmen. Tänk på att inte hålla för hårt i pärmsidan när du gör detta. Det är inte roligt att ha tumavtryck där de inte ska vara. Tummavtryck bli i för sig väldigt läckert med ådringen men det är inte alltid man vill ha den effekten :) Färga allt med perfect pearl med hjälp av fingarna. Har du ingen perfect pearl eller annat micapulver så grädda allt och måla med akrylfärg, alkoink etc. Grenen är en lång rullad fimotråd som jag gjort några märken med kniven samt med en liten kula. De extra stenarna är en annan sorts glasmosaik med vit baksida, vilket gör att den inte suger upp bakgrundsfärgen och förblir ljusare. Även här har jag rullat kulor av leran och tryckt till mot den gråa stenen. Så nu till ögat. Detta gjorde jag idag mitt på dagen därav bättre ljus. Jag gjorde albumet på kvällen/natten vilket visar den superkassa belysningen i mitt rum. Detta ska ske en förbättring på när det byggs om! När jag kom på denna idé till bok sökte jag som en tok efter drakögon på nätet tills jag kom på den enkla idén att göra dem själv. Tag ett gult papper, jag använder ett tjockt. Klipp ut en cirkel i samma storlek som glasklumpen. Måla en svart pupill. Häll glossyaccent på pappret och sätt fast under glaskklumpen. Placera ögat på utkavlad fimolera. Börja skapa konturerna av hur ögat ska se ut. Skär bort överflödig lera. Skär små markeringar längs ögonlockens kanter. Nu till det tidsödande. Börja rulla runda kulor! Det kommer krävas massor. Ta en kula och platta till det mot ögonlocket. Jag börjar med att lägga en rad med små kulor närmast ögat. Fortsätt så rad på rad. Färga in med perfectpearl eller på liknande färgläggningstips som jag nämnde innan. eller låt den vara som den är. Grädda sedan i ugnen. Nu är drakögat en aningen mer blå/grön metalisk i verkligheten men ni ser hur ögat är uppbyggt. Den svarta spiralen på albumet blev för liten pga de tjocka albumpärmarna så jag bytte till kopparfärgade 1 1/4 tum från zutter.

An ACEO made of polymer clay in blues and purples with glass gems. Washed with black acrylic patina and touched with metallic paint. I used old clay cane slices on the background clay and 'stretched it out over and over in the pasta machine and it created a sort of tapestry effect. :)
