I’ve designed a pop up polar bear card, ideal for Christmas or for people who care about these animals. In this card the polar bear pops out of the page with a roar and was designed alongside my other arctic based cards that are for sale, which include a popup narwhal and penguin. Except for my details printed on the back, there is no text printed on the card, so it can be given as a Christmas card or for somebody who just loves polar bears. There is plenty of space on the back of the card to add your own personal message. ABOUT MY CARDS I work as an illustrator and paper engineer, making popup books, cards and gifts. I’ve designed each card, which has been printed on artist 200gsm matte card, which I have personally hand assembled. Each cold folds flat for postage and measures approximately 10cm x 15.5cm – folding out to 20cm x 15.5cm when opened (without the dimensions of the actual popup which can go beyond the edge of the page to make it more effective). Each card also comes with an envelope as shown in the photograph and a protective cellophane sleeve. I pride myself on attention to detail and I hope you'll love seeing these cards popup, just as much as I love designing and making them. ~ Handmade item, printed on to and cut from 200 gsm white card ~ Finished card stands approx. This year we will be stamping 7 holiday cards. We will be using all kinds of different stamps and dies to create them. There will also be heat embossing, Nuvo drops, shimmer cardstock, Copic markers, ink blending and using the stamp platforms (If you haven't tried them yet). This card is heat embossed with gold plus uses the Nuvo drops for some dimension. And if I do something embossed in gold, then I need to do one in silver too! The deer card is on shimmer paper and is actually a 3-D scenery card. This one opens up to hold a gift card. I have the cards on display at the shop if you would like to check them out before they are posted online. Supplies needed: Adhesive runner, foam pop dots or foam tape, scor tape, and scissors.
