A set of large, display-sized, jigsaw puzzle pieces for a simple, effective display. Each puzzle piece should be completed by the children in your class - a picture of themselves, their name, likes, what they are good at and a target for the coming year. I have used these very successfully and I think they look most effective if they are printed using differently coloured thin card, or paper. Whilst making these I had lots of other ideas on how to use blank puzzle pieces - compound words, completing sentences/idioms, MFL translations, a border for a bigger display etc. I have included a blank jigsaw puzzle piece as well. If you like my resource please visit my website - www.the-treasure-box.co.uk for lots of other resources and ideas. Please also leave me some feedback, especially if you have thought of other ways to use the blank puzzle pieces. All the very best Mike :0)

Meet Norbin Nibbleweed the Crochet Gnome! A free crochet pattern perfect as a toy, a gift, a decoration, or as a fun piece of festive holiday decor.
This listing is for a PDF copy of my Wonky Alphabet. Each letter is designed to fit an entire 8.5"x11" piece of paper. Due to some printer settings, you may notice a thin, blank border area around each letter (in other words, the lines will not reach completely to the sides). If you cannot print without these margins, simply use a pen or pencil to continue the line to the edge. A little tip if you plan to place the letters right next to each other, use a thin strip of solid fabric in between the letters so they don't run together--see the NOEL pillow picture. You can shrink or enlarge the pattern to whatever size you need! See the last picture for the pattern printed at 100% and at 50%. Great for adding a personal touch to quilts, bags, or garlands. You can also sew the entire alphabet together for the perfect baby quilt! Please note, there are NO instructions on how to paper piece included with this pattern. You must be familiar with this technique in order to use the pattern. Numbers followed by "(b)" indicate where background fabric should be used. If you shrink the pattern less than 50%, I would recommend adding 1/4" seam allowance to the outside so you don't have super skinny sides to some of the letters. To view a tutorial on how to paper piece, visit Suzy Quilts https://suzyquilts.com/tips-tricks-paper-pieced-quilt-blocks/ This is an original Kelbysews pattern. Please do not sell, distribute or copy without written permission by me. Pattern is available for immediate digital download from Etsy. Meet Lorenzo the Llama! (Thank you JadeAurora for his name!) 2-3-19 Update: I added instructions to make Loop-renzo! It’s Lorenzo in winter, with fluffy loops all over. Loop-renzo will require knowledge of the Loop Stitch, Loop decrease and Loop HDC. Also helpful if you have made Lorenzo at least once. I created this pattern specifically to minimize sewing (because I just hate sewing pieces together). The legs, body, and head are one piece. The only sewing required is for the ears and tail. The PDF is 7 pages, with written instruction and some diagrams for clarification. Difficulty: Advanced Beginner to Intermediate Techniques: Basic crochet stitches, increases, decreases, and magic ring, but the construction and some joining techniques are a little more advanced, hence the Advanced Beginner to Intermediate difficulty level. Materials: Yarn: Worsted weight, about 100 yds to 120 yds. Hook: US E/4 (3.5 mm) Tapestry needle for sewing in ends, stitching pieces together, and sewing on eyes. 2 Beads for eyes, or safety eyes Polyester fiberfill for stuffing Size: Approximately 8” tall (not including ears) x 5” long using worsted weight yarn. If you choose to use other weights, the size will vary. This pattern is for personal use, please do not duplicate or distribute in any way, shape, or form. But feel free to sell your finished llamas to share the love. All I ask is to please refer back to me as the pattern’s author. :) Update! I have added a free pattern for the poncho! This block was inspired by late nights putting my son to sleep. It's so exhausting, but it's all worth it! I hope this pattern gives you all the warm fuzzy feelings of late night snuggles with a little one you love. Please be aware, this is a PDF pattern. Upon purchasing, Etsy will email you the file for immediate download. In the pattern, you will receive a list of fabric requirements, instructions for assembling the block, a diagram of the assembled block and the order to sew the paper pieces together. This pattern assumes previous foundation paper piecing (FPP) experience. My favorite tips are included, but the instructions do not go over how to foundation paper piece. The finished block size is 19 1/4'' x 27''. The paper size used in the pattern is 8.5 x 11 inches. Please reach out to me if you have any difficulties with the pattern.

THIS IS A CROCHET PATTERN ONLY, NOT A FINISHED PRODUCT Immediately after purchasing, you will receive a downloadable PDF copy of this pattern. You can access this link at any time by going to Profile > Purchases + Reviews. Please reach out to me if you cannot find the download link! This pattern is written "measure yourself" style- meaning it can be scaled to any size you'd like using your measurements, with any yarn of your choosing. This pattern does NOT contain specific stitch counts, sizes, yardage, or gauges! Light, lacy, and airy, the Buttercup Top is perfect for breezy warm days. This versatile and eye-catching crochet blouse pairs beautifully with cutoff shorts, capris, skirts, or even layered over long sleeve shirts in colder months. Choose between two different v-neckline depths to get the coverage and silhouette you want! Any dk or sport weight yarn can be used, however I highly recommend using natural fibres such as bamboo, silk, cotton, or linen, as they provide a lovely drape that compliments the flouncy sleeves and trim along the bottom of the top. Buttercup is worked all in one piece, with minimal seaming required. The back panel is worked first, from the top down, then the front neckline panels are created by directly working into the back panel. The neckline is shaped and joined together (with crocheters choosing either the Plunge or High V Neckline option depending on their preference) , and the remainder of the front is worked to match the back panel. The flutter sleeves are worked in rounds, then the yarn is reattached at the bottom to create the flouncy hem in the round. The neckline is then finished with a simple edging. Weave in all the ends and enjoy your new top! **** MATERIALS REQUIRED Yarn* Hook* Tapestry Needle Scissors *In the pattern, I say that any weight and fibre yarn and hook size can be used. The sample garments featured in this pattern were made using a 5.5mm hook and 550 m (approx) of dk weight yarn to make a US Women's Size Small, but please feel free to use whatever you have on hand! IMPORTANT: Yardage, hook size, and gauge will all vary depending on the size and weight of materials used. SKILLS REQUIRED Double Crochet, Shell Stitch, Single Crochet, Chain, Slip Stitch, working in the round. Buttercup is an INTERMEDIATE pattern. It requires some skills and knowledge in using stitch patterns, increasing, and working in the round. It is recommended to have some experience with making garments before trying this project! Buttercup has been REMASTERED as of August 25 2023. This includes an overhaul of the overall garment construction and neckline shaping to make it more streamlined and easy. If you purchased the old pattern prior to its re-release and would like a copy of the new version, send an email to crochet.by.becks [!at] gmail.com with your order number as proof of purchase and I will send you the a new copy. WHAT THIS PRODUCT INCLUDES: This product comes with a 12 page giant overlocker poster. This poster can be printed on A3 or A4 depending on the size you would like. I usually print on A4 to get a medium side and A3 to get a giant size. All pages then need to be laminated and stuck together using sticky tape on both sides - lining up the lines. I then cut around the poster and stick onto the classroom wall using wall tape. This file contains 12 mini Prefix Puzzles. The puzzles all have 3 pieces; one with a prefix printed on it, one with a base word, and a third with the meaning of the base word with the prefix added to it. The aim of the activity is for your students to work out which base words go with which prefix, to then ultimately discover what the prefixes 'un', 'dis', 're', 'im', 'in' and 'pre' mean. Also included is a Prefix 'Block' Puzzle. For this activity, students need to piece together the 16 'block' puzzle bits to match the prefixes with the base words that are on each of the blocks. The words on this puzzle contain a wide range of prefixes including 'extra', 'inter', 'tri' and 'anti'. In addition, there is a Suffix 'Block' Puzzle which works in the same way, however, students have to connect the base words with the suffixes on the block pieces. There are 2 copies of the puzzles in this file. One is in black and white and could be printed onto color paper. The other is a color version. To take a closer look at these puzzles, be sure to download the preview. Please note: this resource is also available in my Prefix and Suffix Mega Bundle. Please remember to rate this product and follow me, so I can keep you up to date with all my latest listings! Happy teaching, From The Novel Classroom
This design is also available in fingering and DK weights. Please Note: this pattern was also published in “One Skein Wonders for Babies.”In the book version, the sizing only goes to 18months in the book (i.e. only the baby sizes), so if you need larger sizes you will need to purchase the individual pattern. ~~~ Adorable seamless shrug that knits up in no time and uses very little yarn… Features a fun and easy textured pattern. Both the heartwarmer style and the textured stitch made me think of the “entrechat,” a ballet jump where the legs cross each other mid-air in a flutter. This shrug is knit seamlessly from the top down to the armpits. The raglan cap sleeves are then bound off and the back stitches are worked together with stitches picked up along each front raglans to form the body in one piece. Skills required: casting-on, knitting, purling, increasing, decreasing, picking up stitches, yarn over. Finished garment has cross-back measurement of 9 (9.75, 10.75, 11.5 // 12, 12.5, 13.25, 14.25) inches or 23 (25, 27, 29 // 30.5, 31.5, 34, 36) cm. Yarn requirements: 1 (1, 1, 1 // 1.5, 1.5, 1.5, 1.75) skeins of Malabrigo Merino Worsted or approximately 125 (150, 175, 200 // 225, 250, 300, 350) yds or 114 (137, 160, 183 // 206, 229, 274, 320) meters of worsted weight yarn. Note: Malabrigo Merino Worsted is not superwash, but any similar superwash yarn that gets you gauge can be substituted. Needles / Notions: US 8 or 5mm circular needles or size needed to get stockinette gauge. Note: garment is not knit in the round. Circular needles are needed because they hold all the stitches easily and because of their flexibility. -2 stitch markers -tapestry needle -one 5/8-inch or 1.5 cm diameter button …………………………………………………………………………. …………………………………………………………………………. …………………………………………………………………………. Snake Scarf - Digital PDF Knitting Pattern Calling all snake charmers! I’ve designed the perfect scarf for you. All you have to do is knit it with this knitting pattern. The scarf is knitted flat in two pieces and seamed together using a mattress stitch. It’s perfect for knitters who know the basics, as it uses knit, purl, increase and decrease, alongside striping colours. The finished scarf looks more complicated than it is to knit. See the second image in the listing for the materials needed, and the full list below. The yarn used in the pattern is Sincerely Louise ‘How Does It Feel’ 100% wool. The scarf can easily be knitted in any yarn worked on 6mm needles, or any yarn that achieves the same tension as that shown in the pattern. This pattern won’t teach you how to knit, however my new book First Time Knits can take you from beginner to knitter and you’ll be knitting your own scarves in no time.
