This card was so dog gone easy! Whoever gets one of these will be amazed! I even made a video which is on my YouTube channel dated yesterday. This post is photo heavy and I have the templates near the end. (This post contains affiliate links. When you shop through my links {most are at the end of this post}I may receive a commission at NO cost to you! Thanks so much for your support!) Since I made this a "love" card for Valentine's Day, my hubby will be getting this. This is page 1. I'm not sure I like the flowers at the top but he won't pay any attention to them. I added stamped flowers to the bottom of 4 of the 6 pages using a great Spellbinders stamp set called Layered Wildflowers. And the words are from a Hero Arts stamp & die set called Love You. Page 2.... Page 3.... I used a couple Distress Oxide inks and a blending brush to make the die cut words pop more. Page 4.... Page 5.... Page 6.... And now for my template: I recommend you watch my video as I gave some tips that I haven't shared here. And I'd love to hear if you tried this! Hello my crafty friends! Welcome and thanks for popping in! Colour INKspiration Challenge #124 has opened up over on Facebook and photo inspiration for this Challenge was chosen by fellow Crew Member Lou Kitzelman and the Guest Designer is the fabulous Kristie Slabbers-Kooltjes. I can't wait to see what Kristie was designed for us. Picture credit - http://joseherworld.blogspot.com/2016/09/ibera-argentina.html The card I have created features the Artfully Layered Bundle. Sadly this Bundle is no longer available to purchase - it was part of the Last Chance Promotion and has now sold out. I have to say, I have really enjoyed using the stamps and co-ordinating dies over the last six months. I will admit I struggled using these bright and vibrant colours in this Challenge - not my usual go to which is why I love these colour challenges so much. Supplies: Bundle: Artfully Layered Dies: Tailor Made Tag Dies Cardstock: Night of Navy, Basic White, Daffodil Delight, Parakeet Party, Tahitian Tide, Vellum Inks: Parakeet Party, Daffodil Delight, Tahitian Tide Embellishments: 2022-24 In Colour Matt Decorative Dots (Parakeet Party), Metallic Woven Ribbon (Starry Sky), Linen Thread Tools: Paper Trimmer, Mini Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine, Blending Brush Adhesives: Tombow Liquid Glue, Dimensionals Let's Make It: For this card you will need a card base, two pieces of Basic White trimmed to fit the front and the inside, a piece of Night of Navy cs large enough for the biggest tag, a piece of Daffodil Delight cs for a leaf die-cut, a piece of Tahitian Tide cs for a leaf die-cut, a piece of Parakeet Party cs for a leaf die-cut. Die cut each leaf from the Daffodil Delight, Parakeet Party and Tahitian Tide cardstock. Leave one side of the monstera-shaped leaf die-cut as well as all the middles of the Parakeet Party leaf die-cut to help with the definition of each die-cut. Stamp tone-on-tone over each leaf using the distressed print stamp - this creates texture as well as softens the colour a little. Die cut a tag in Night of Navy cs and make a bow at the top using both Linen Thread and Metallic Woven Ribbon Gently blend Parakeet Party ink in the centre of one piece of Basic White cs using a Blending Brush. Glue this to the card front. Glue the leaves to the tag and add the Matte Decorative Dots and attach this to the coloured piece of Basic White with Dimensionals. On the second piece of Basic White cs, gently blend Parakeet Party ink in the top left and bottom right corners and add second and third generation stamping over the top using the same distressed print image used on the leaves. Add a vellum leaf in the bottom right corner for a subtle continuation of the design from the front, trim any over-hang and glue to the inside . Completed card. Video showing the making of this card can be found over on Paper Happinessity with Monica Formosa Facebook Page or over on You Tube Feel INKspired to join the challenge? I would love for you to join us! It's a great way to have fun with different colours! Firstly, hop on over and check out the creations of the Colour INKspiration Crew in the Challenge album on our Facebook page. Then you have 12 days from today to make and upload your creation to the Facebook Colour INKspiration Group. You don't have to have a blog to participate but if you do, you can link back to your post. Just a reminder to use all the challenge colours. Neutrals such as Whisper White, Very Vanilla, Crumb Cake, Sahara Sand and Basic Black are also allowed as well as Metallics. Welcome to For The Love Of Stamping! Today's post is a fun fold card called a Pinwheel Tower card. It is super easy to make! This card features the Quiet Meadow bundle. I have designed my card in a monochromatic scheme. I love the elegance of black and white and that is what I am using on this card. Steps: 1. Cut base at 7” x 5 ½” 2. Along the 7” edge, score @ 1”, 2”, 3”, 4” – burnish score lines and fold into a tube shape – you will have a 3” x 5 ½” section extending from the tube (tube is behind the panel). This is your first "wing". 3. Cut 3 basic grey panels @ 3” x 5 ½” – attach one panel to each of the open spaces around the tube base. 4. Cut 4 black layers (2 ¾” x 5 ¼”) and adhere to basic grey panels to create a mat layer (front facing panels). 5. Cut 2 white layers (2 ½” x 5”) and adhere to black panels opposite each other. In the picture one is the panel with the black daisy and the sympathy sentiment and the other is the other side of the one with the daisy die cut with the grid lines - these sections are "kiddy corner" to each other. 6. Cut 4 black layers (1 ¾” x 5 ¼”) – adhere to back side of each of the grey wing panels to create a mat (you can see one of the sections in the photo above - it is the one with the daisy die cut with grid lines). 7. Cut 2 DSP layers (this is the grid line DSP) @ 2 ½” x 5”. Center the daisy die and die cut. You now have a die cut daisy and a DSP layer with a negative space. a. Adhere the daisy die cut with the grid lines to the black panel shown above b. Then adhere the DSP with the the die cut daisy negative space on the opposite panel. (see image above). c. Repeat with the second die cut and DSP placing them on the panels that are "kiddy corner". 8. Die cut 2 additional silhouette flowers from black cardstock and adhere to the white layers from step 5. 9. Stamp sentiments and die cut with the label die from the Pierced Blooms die. Adhere as shown with dimensionals Happy stamping! Tracie

Stamping In Savannah presents... Welcome to another Stamping with the Stars Inspiration Hop. Pinwheel cards are so much fun to make and are MUCH easier than they look! To make to the pinwheel that is attached to this card, you will need 2 squares of cardstock measuring 2-5/8" and 8 squares of Designer Series Paper (DSP) that measure 1-1/4". I like using two different coordinating DSP. 1. Glue the 2 pieces of 2-5/8" squares together as shown here, one on top of the other at an angle. 2. THIS NEXT STEP IS THE HARDEST OF THE EASY STEPS! Glue ONLY the back right side of one of the DSP and glue down, leaving a border as shown. (It will make sense later on! I promise!) 3. For the next 6 squares, just alternate DSP squares, gluing completely down, leaving a borders. One will be glued like a square and the next one like a diamond. 4. When you get to the last square, put glue on the back, but you will tuck the RIGHT SIDE under the first one. (Now you know WHY we didn't glue the first one completely down!) After, apply a bit of glue under the left side of the first square. Ta-Da! You now have a beautiful pinwheel to add to a card base. (You can also watch a video on how I made this here.) Measurements: Card Base: Garden Green Cardstock 5-1/2" x 8-1/2" scored at 4-1/4" Mat: Pale Papaya Cardstock 5-1/4" x 4" Embossed Mat: Basic White Cardstock 5" x 3-3/4" Pinwheel:(2) Garden Green Cardstock 2-5/8" square Designer Series Paper: 2 coordinating colors Cut 4 from each 1-1/4" square Sentiment: Pale Papaya Cardstock (die cut using smallest Stitched Rectangle die) scrap about 2-3/4" x 1-1/2". If NOT using dies, the actual size of the mat is 1" x 2-3/8" Basic White scrap 2-1/4" x 3/4" Inside mat: Basic White 5-1/4" x 4" DSP strip 4" x 3/4" I hope you enjoyed this hop! Hi Everyone, Today, I am hopping with the Ink Stamp Share group and showcasing products from the new Stampin' Up! annul catalogue. I've chosen the Pansy Petals Suite because it's my favourite and my inspiration comes from a card I saw on Mixed Up Crafts with Sam Calcott, check out her YouTube channel and blog, she is a very talented crafter. Materials 1 piece of blackberry bliss card stock 7" x 6", 3 pieces 3" x 6" 4 pieces of fresh freesia card stock 2 3/4" x 5 3/4", 4 pieces 1 3/4" x 5 3/4" 4 pieces of dsp 2 1/2" x 5 1/2", 4 pieces 1 1/2" x 5 1/2", 3 flowers and leaves from the dsp sheets 2 pieces of basic white approx 2 1/2" x 3 1/3" for the rectangles Scraps of evening evergreen, fresh freesia and basic white for the die cuts Blackberry bliss ink Stampin Cut and Emboss machine Stitched So Sweetly dies Pansy dies Pansy Patch stamp set Trimmer Simply scored Bone folder Multipurpose adhesive Dimensionals Instructions On the long side, score the largest piece of blackberry bliss at 1", 2", 3" and 4" and fold and burnish all the score lines. These score lines will fold around to form the square tube in the centre of the card, adhere in place. Each of the three other blackberry bliss pieces form the other fins and need to be adhered around the central tube (see picture). Adhere all the mat layers, all the way around and then the dsp layers, leaving equal borders on all sides. Die cut 2 stitched scalloped rectangles from the basic white card and 2 stems and the buds from the coloured card. You can die cut the flowers and leaves from the dsp or fussy cut them with your paper snips, whichever you prefer. Stamp your sentiments on both of the rectangles and then adhere them to opposite sides of the card, one front and one back to write your message. Then decorate the plainer panels with cut out flowers as shown in the pictures. I hope that you like my card and will give it a try.
