Hello, today I would like to show you my new project in which I used many different moulds from Finnabair. I know I will repeat myself, but there are so many new patterns that you still have to create to use them all! By the way, do you already have your favorite moulds? The whole project is based on a lamp-shaped HDF base. I glued the individual elements from moulds, small gears and dry sticks together with Heavy Body Gel, and after drying everything, I covered it with a thin layer of Clear Gesso. This time I chose a set of three rustic pastes that have great, intense colors and additionally leave a wonderful texture. The project seems to be rusty twice;) To slightly diversify the colors, I also used liquid acrylic paints (Ink Black, Carmine and Tiger Orange. Finally, I used white gesso for highlighting and silver metallic wax. I invite you to watch my video tutorial on Finnabair YouTube channel where you can see the entire creation process. Have a nice day, Kasia Salmanowicz Products I have used - all the images linked to Mixed Media Place online store:

I am here today to share with you a steampunk style mixed media canvas. I wanted to push my color boundaries and go with something a little different (for me), I tend to stick to the blue/green color palette a lot. I decided to head in a rustic direction, however you can see I still managed to sneak in a little blue and green. Products Used Stamp-N-Add Butterfly Wings Shimmerz Dazzelerz Licorice Stick Twiddleybitz Rusting Powder Prima Mechanicals Plated Labels Prima Mechanicals Tassels Silks Pretty Peridot Silks Bolivian Blue Silks Sky Blue Inka-Gold Handmade rusty nails, rusty resin screws and bolts I so love the Prima Stamp-N-Add Butterfly Wings, they are so funky and cool. I gave the wings a touch of Silks Pretty Peridot paint combined with a little Inka Gold on the wing edges. The nuts and bolt have been created using hand poured resin into a mold. I painted the nuts and bolt with a combination of grey and silver paint and finished them off with a light dusting of rusting powder. They look pretty cool right? Many thanks for looking, I wish you all a happy and creative day. ~ Rebecca ~
