Photo Source: Apples & ABC's Can you believe Easter is less than a week away? If you're looking for a last minute craft to complete with your kiddos this Easter, check out this colorful watercolor cross featured by Michelle over at Apples & ABC's! Easter Cross Watercolor Craft Supplies You'll Need: White construction paper (9" x 12") Painter's tape Black crayons Watercolor paint Paint brushes Provide each student with a piece of white construction paper and a length of painter's tape. Have them tear the tape so one length is shorter than the other and place both pieces of tape on the paper to create a cross. Photo Source: Apples & ABC's Next, in the bottom right hand corner of the page have your students write "Jesus is Alive!" in crayon (we would recommend a black crayon so it shows up well against the watercolor paint). Photo Source: Apples & ABC's Then instruct them to paint the entire page using watercolor paint. Allow them to be creative! As long as the entire page is painted, they can choose whatever design they'd like. Photo Source: Apples & ABC's Once the painting is complete, allow the pictures to dry before peeling off the tape. Photo Source: Apples & ABC's Hang the completed works of art around your classroom for a colorful Easter display proclaiming the true meaning of Easter! And be sure to check out Michelle's additional Easter ideas when you stop by Apples & ABC's! Photo Source: Apples & ABC's
Canon 5D Mark II + Canon EF 16-35 Mark II @ f/2.8, ISO2500, 7sec. If you came across this photo on another site than flickr, I would be happy to know where :) Thx I shot this on the late evenig of sept.16th 2010, nearby Skittenelv in the Tromsø area, in northern NORWAY. Me and my Friend Frank and Knut was out chasing the aurora, after a 30min drive outside of Tromsø we pulled the car over when we found our location. Then all of a sudden all electricity in the area blacked out, it was strange, it was mysterious, it was like we could feel something was about to happen. I had just taken of my 24mm Mark II f/1.4, and it was hard to decide weather to put my favourite lens back on, or go for the 16mm to be able to capture more. In this case I am glad I went for the 16mm. After 45min of waiting it suddenly happened. It was like all of heaven opened and poured electric plasma light all over us! We were mesmerised, it was magic, it was almost undescribable. You get religious when you get to experience something like this. The lights were everywhere, it was difficult to decide where to shoot, we were shouting and screaming at each other in excitment, we were laughing, it was sick!!! I did shoot lots of shots this evenig, will post more later. In this one I manged to capture not only a spectacular lightshow, fast moving sparkling auroa boralis in both its usual bright green, but also some red/violet red color, which is less visible to the human eye than camera optics. I also managed to capture the beginning of a corona/aurora core at the left top, and 3 sattellites, 1 airplane and 1 friend (Frank) shooting the light as well. When watching Frank sitting down to the left, you can imagine how big this one was! BTW! While you are here, I recommend you to take a look at my 4min video of the Northern Lights! Spent 6months, 50,000 stills shot. Video contains some of the most amazing auroral outbreaks I have ever seen: vimeo.com/21419634 Feel free to share it or twitter it. Social media is an inseparable part of our modern society; we can hardly imagine our lives without it anymore. But the way we actually live our reality and what we put out to the world to see can be slightly, or drastically, different. There are two kinds of people on social media—those who have a glam, pitch-perfect life, and those who like to keep it real. With Geraldine West, you get the best of both worlds. The German influencer pokes fun at flawless and cliché Instagram photos and reveals what they would look like if social media was honest.
From the start, my husband [!] and I agreed that we wanted our guests to feel like they were going on on a mini-vacation when they attended our wedding. We’re both lovers of the outdoors, but we live in Chicago, so when we laid eyes on Migis ...

2018 release. Angelo de Augustine presents Tomb, his first album recorded in a studio and produced by renowned musician Thomas Bartlett (aka Doveman). A quiet heartache threads through Tomb. It's a universal feeling, the kind that piles up over the years and yearns for resolution. The 12 songs came together quickly, out of necessity following his first true heartbreak around Christmas 2017 - and while Tomb was born from this breakup, the album expanded to explore years of loss and disappointment. Throughout, de Augustine sings of his first love (\"Tomb\"), attempts to reconcile possible past mistakes (\"You Needed Love, I Needed You\"), and reckoning with how personal and familial history impacts present and future relationships (\"Kaitlin,\" \"Bird Has Flown\"). Like the best albums about heartbreak, Tomb transforms pain into beauty. \"This album is at it's core a prayer for hope and clarity, and a prayer for love,\" he says. Ultimately Tomb reflects a beginning for de Augustine - both emotionally and in his career. It's a motion towards positivity, addressing lost love, the worthwhile cost of honesty, and the ramifications of regret. In the end, Tomb isn't about burying or hiding something away, it's about opening the seal and letting something new emerge. The album's title reveals these sentiments: \"Throughout our lives we bury many dead things in our hearts and minds,\" he says. \"There they go to rest and hopefully are reborn as something beautiful for the world to behold.\"
