Persian Abadeh Stock No: PE-200-000289 Size(m): 2.96×1.84 Location: Perth Phone: 1 800 200 028 Hand-knotted Persian carpets from the Iranian provenance Abadeh, a region between Shiraz (Shiras) and Isfahan, are characterised by their robustness, which makes them perfect companions in everyday life. While these carpets cannot keep up with the finer carpets e.g. from Isfahan or Nain in their knot density of 140,000-320,000 knots per m2, they are nevertheless of very good quality. Mostly Abadeh carpets are knotted in shades of red and have a rosette in the centre with blue shades. They are inspired by carpets of the Ghashgai nomads who passed through Abadeh. Following their example, natural motifs and ornaments, such as those of animals and plants, are often found on the carpets. The Faeghi family are the name you can trust. They have traded in fine handmade carpets in Persia for many generations. For more than 50 years, Peter Faeghi has shared this lineage with thousands of Australians, offering them authentic works of art to enliven and enrich their homes. All carpets are guaranteed. With showrooms in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth and Darwin, you can buy your carpets from us with confidence. All of Persian Carpet Gallery carpets are supplied with certificate of originality. You can also exchange the rugs at any of our stores across Australia.Call 1800 200 028 or Write to Us if you have any questions.
