An incredible and flowing carving from a walnut trunk in the form of a chair. Found in a Bucks County, PA barn buried under lots of other items. Carved in the 1950s of local walnut, possibly originally from the Nakashima workshop, since his studio, home and base of operations were close by. Please email us for more photos of the chair from more angles. This sinuous carving must be seen. Beautiful. White glove delivery or local pick up only! The weight of the chair is well over 100 pounds. Please disregard dimensions HERE. They are just placed to allow us to post the chair. Email us to discuss your shipping options. Thanks for shopping!
GEMINI This sculpture features a geometric design with intersecting lines and cut-out sections, creating a dynamic and intricate pattern. The textured surface is accented with warm earthy tones, adding depth and interest to the piece. Mounted on a sleek metal base, this sculpture combines traditional craftsmanship with a modern aesthetic, making it a striking addition to any collection. When all four elements meet the talent of a master, true art is born. Our modern wood sculptures are air, earth, fire and water in every work. The air is felt in the movement and dynamics of the composition. Water - in the richness of surface textures, reminiscent of small ripples and large waves. Fire lives in wood processing technology, its energy and strength. The earth is in the structure of the wood, its natural beauty and the colors chosen by the artist. Each sculpture is unique. It has its own character and mood. This is not just a home decor, but a real work of art that will become a fashionable accent in your space. Our sculptures look harmoniously not only in the home interior, but also in the office, restaurant, hotel, salon.
