S (a friend of one of my girlies) was looking to celebrate with the office their bosses's birthday and gave me the idea of making sheep cupcakes with one leader sheep and sheepdog toppers! I had a hard time deciding what material to use for the sheep's wool, i contemplated fondant and using rings to create its texture, i contemplated rice krispies then covered in fondant, even royal icing which would have been WAAAAAY sweet! So in the end, i decided on buttercream with swirly piping! Each of the sheepies were given various facial expressions and hooves placed in all different directions, just to add some fun! To make the bosses "stand out" S requested that i made them 3D instead. Fantastic idea from her! Cupcakes were lemon cupcakes with lemon buttercream.
Your pastor has been a dedicated servant of God as he tends to each and every member of the church body. She visits the sick and shut-ins. He spends hours preparing sermons and holding meetings. There are times that the church membership will join together and show their appreciation for her work.

[caption id=attachment_1594 align=aligncenter width=470] Baaaaaaa![/caption] Eid-ul-Adha is right around the corner and what better way to celebrate than to bake sheep cupcakes with the kiddos! You can explain to them the significance of the sacrifice and why we do it every Eid-ul-Adha. The kids and I had a great time assembling the tiny sheep faces and eating the frosting! The easiest way to make cupcakes is to use boxed cake mixes, but making them from scratch tastes soooo much better and you can ensure that you are using only the best ingredients. Once you go homemade, you will never go back to the box. It's a little more effort, but I promise it's worth it :) I baked my cupcakes using the Perfect Vanilla Cupcakes recipe by Glorious Treats. I used Joy of Baking's Buttercream Frosting recipe, it is absolutely divine and comes out perfectly in my stand mixer. Materials * brown or black cupcake liners * frosting bag * frosting tip, star shape * candy eyeballs (Note: Wilton's has gelatin in it, I posted an alternate link. You can also make your own using icing, marshmallows, white fondant, edible black felt tip pen, black gel frosting, etc. Or, find a cake supply store and see if they carry royal icing eyeballs without any gelatin) * Tootsie Rolls * toothpick Method Make sure cupcakes are cooled completely. Attach the star tip to the bag and fill it up with white frosting. Push the frosting down and twist the bag on the top. Using steady pressure, squeeze the bag so the frosting comes out in a star shape, then lightly lift up. Repeat until you have gone around the edge of the cupcake. Keep repeating until the entire cupcake is filled with stars. I added some extra stars on top of the first layer to give more of layered effect. Hint: practice making rows of the shape on a piece of parchment paper until you feel comfortable. This part might seem daunting, but once you master it, it's really fun! Tootsie Rolls are very pliable so working with it was pretty easy. Flatten into a disc shape for the head. Using a toothpick, make two nostrils :) Attach the eyeballs using a dab of frosting. Kids are hard at work. We forgot to take a picture of the sheep head with the ears attached. Take a small Tootsie Roll piece and simply attach onto the sides of the head for the ears. Gently pick up the head and place on top of the frosted cupcake! [caption id=attachment_1592 align=aligncenter width=470] Eid Mubaaaaaarak![/caption] Don't they look so cute?? I almost felt bad eating them... Hope you try making these easy sheep cupcakes for Eid. Please send us a message below if you have any questions!
The Money Cake
Oh my goodness! These candy corn pretzel melts are the best of both worlds. Sweet and salty, but so simple to make. I suggest you make them when your kids are not home and hide them. Not that this kind-hearted mama would ever do such a thing. I just think
I just love crafty food! I needed an angel, and cutting out a sandwich with my angel shaped cookie cutter just wasn't scratching my creative itch. It took me longer to come up with a

Hi everyone! Happy Monday, and I hope you had a good weekend! It was a good one at our household! The "I Do" barbecue wedding was fun, although it was cold in the tent for the reception, but it was even colder outside! Brrr! Once the sun goes down, the chill is on! But it was a lovely event! Today's card is for our pastor and his wife; he is our interim pastor, as we look for a full-time pastor, and he and his wife have been a tremendous blessing and encouragement to us during this time! I can't remember when I last used Basket of Wishes, but I thought it would be a timely image to use for their card: I used the Match the Sketch sketch for this week: I am also linking this to the Inkspirational Challenge, which is this pretty autumn photo: I stamped the image in Basic Black ink on watercolor paper, then colored them in with inks and an aquapainter: I added a couple strips of miscellaneous papers for the horizontal pieces, and added a sentiment from Beautiful Bouquet. On the inside, I added a sentiment from the Basket of Wishes set, and added some wheat from an older retired set called Autumn Days: I am really enjoying "visiting" my older stamps and giving them some love! Thanks so much for visiting me today! Cassidy can entertain herself with just about anything! Here, she made use of John's homemade creeper (for sliding under cars), propelling herself down the little incline out of the garage: Of course, she has no way to steer it, so she is at the mercy of the driveway...she almost ran into the gas grill, LOL! Enjoy your day and be blessed! Project Details—All Products SU! Take time and pray for your pastor, worship leaders, and teachers in your church home tonight. After you do take another moment and pray for other churches in your area. Remember one body, many members! Praying for one another is what builds the Body of Christ. "For this reason we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God; strengthened with all might, according to His glorious power, for all patience and longsuffering with joy; giving thanks to the Father who has qualified us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light. (Col. 1:9-12)
