This pastel color abstract floral landscape photography has a dramatic sense of composition which recalls the careful arrangements of Dutch and Flemish still life paintings from the 17-18 century. Belgian photographer Isabelle Menin creates portraits of flowers that are not only gorgeous in form and color, but also uniquely expressive. Fresh blossoms and withering blooms melt into each other in dreamy washes of color and hazy drips and swirls. Hues and flowers are reflected in pools of water, as forms disintegrate and reappear in trickles and indistinct glimmers of light. The resulting images are breathtaking interplays of light and shadow, form and reflections, and breathtaking colors and textures. Looking at Menin's vibrant and organic work, it isn't surprising to learn that she has a background in painting. After working with paint for over a decade, the artist turned to digital photography instead. With rich colors, bold textures, and a stunning abstract quality, her creations look more like masterful illustrations and paintings than conventional photographs. Part of this is due to the digital manipulation that Menin loves using to transform and blend photos in order to create her beautifully moody images. Menin calls her work inland photographs and disordered landscapes in reference to the strange complexity of nature, which reminds her of human complexity. She says: The uncontrolled forces, the shapes’ complexity, the interweavings and the synergy of the elements, they all look to me like a mirror of the human spirit. We are no straight lines, we are like nature, a very large network of interferences that work together to produce something which sometimes looks accomplished and then gets destroyed in a perpetual coming and going between order and disorder. In the past five years, Isabelle Menin has had numerous exhibitions in Europe and internationally -both at art fairs and museums. These include the Belgium Modern Art Exhibition , Hongqiao Museum in Shanghai, China, OFF Art Fair – Brussels, Kunstraï – Amsterdam, MIA Fair - Milan – Italy, Setup Contemporary Art Fair, Bologna – Italy, Fotofever - Carrousel du Louvre - Paris - France , The Perception of Beauty - Group show - Sophie Marée Gallery (La Haye), Femmes de Belgique - Group Show - Sophie Marée Gallery (La Haye), and « FLORA » , Musée des Beaux-Arts, Mons, Belgium .

If you are looking for SECOND SEMESTER OF US HISTORY click here. The Vietnam War had an incredible impact that will shape the next decade. This unit builds on the 1960's units I created with: - 1. Chapter Preview sheet / How to outline / Daily plans: These are a few ideas to get students started for the unit. - 2. Vietnam War Teaching: I usually run out of time while teaching the Vietnam war because I spend time on the early part of American history. This has led to the creation of 3 different PPT's that vary in length. I have a short one, a medium one and a long one. Each unit covers the basics, while the longer ones tend to go a little more in-depth on certain areas of the war. ( 1-2 Days) - 3. Discussion Day: This is a great way to do an in-class discussion on the concepts that have been taught over the last week. Give the students 20 minutes to write their own answers and then have them discuss for 20 minutes. (1 Day) - 4. Yesterday Show: A great way to the end the year and have the students re-teach a lot of the information that was covered during the semester. This interactive project has the students work in teams to present information about each decade in a competitive environment. The 2 presentations are judged by 3 teachers if you can get any on their prep. The class has been broken into 2 separate groups so they are working as a team as they support each decade that is presented. - 5. Crash Course Video Guide - - 6. Crash Course EP. 38 - CRASH COURSE SAMPLE Here is what is included in this 6 page download: 1. Note Taking Guide for Students: This is essentially a blank section to take notes in. 2. Summary of the Video: A place for the students to write a short summary of what they have watched. 3. Teacher Notes from the: My 1 page of notes. 4. Vocabulary Section: I have chosen 3 words that would be good to have the students look up. I also have them write each of the words in a sentence. 5. Quiz for students / with answers: There is a 7 question quiz with answers from the episode. It can be taken in class or taken home. I think in class would be better. 6. Blank Template for student created quiz: I decided to add this to every Crash Course guide as it works really well with students. **Also, I highly recommend having the students watch this on .5 speed. If you click the wheel on the bottom of the youtube video you can adjust the speed. - 7. Tests and Quizzes - I have also included my tests and quizzes for this chapter. - 8. Paragraph Prompts – These some good ideas to have your students write about during the course of the year. They are apart of my free download that is in my store. - 9. Flipped classroom 2 page guide - This allows the students to work through the PPT with assistance. - 10. Vietnam Notes Page - 4 pages of notes to go over with the students or just to go over in class out loud. -11. Americas Century of Time: Great episode to help understand the Vietnam War conflict. Make sure to check out my blog: Social Studies MegaStore Blog

This collection honours the great Henri Matisse :) Perfect for creating prints, branding, logos, packaging design, cards, stationary, website design elements, blogs, patterns, social media accounts, wedding invitations, jewelry business, and so much more. Each graphic is easy to adjust colours and manipulate in design programs (like Photoshop) in order to create truly custom designs. During the last decade of his life, Matisse could not create art in the same manner as he once did due to his declining health. He began to create by painting paper and cutting out shapes. He "painted" with scissors. These shapes were seemingly simple yet expressive, distilling the world around him to a few lines and colours. Using scissors and gouache, he created a magical world of plants, animals, figures and shapes. Each element is formatted for easy use and ready for any project your imagination can conjure! This small collection is a part of the For Love of Matisse Neutral collection: https://www.etsy.com/ca/listing/972631269/matisse-neutral-watercolor-clipart ☾ WHAT'S INCLUDED: 14 watercolour graphics in .PNG at 300 DPI with transparent backgrounds. The dimensions of clip are approximately 2500px X 3000px (vary slightly based on individual element) - 7 line art bird illustrations - 7 cutout bird illustrations Also included is a PDF with extra tips on how you can manipulate the graphics to your taste and to suit your project using Photoshop or other similar program. ☾ YOU WILL RECEIVE: - A PDF that includes a link to download your zipped/compressed folder of all the included clip art graphics. As the files are large, I could not load them to Etsy directly. They are currently ready for download in my OneDrive. Don't worry you do not need an account to download :) ☾ CONDITIONS: - Purchase includes Personal and Commercial License - Up to 500 end products, physical or digital, for sale - Art MUST be incorporated into a new product in order to make it available for sale. - Use the individual graphics to create something new. Modify the original assets you purchased (i.e. add other elements, colours, text or texture); form an original design that requires your input of time, effort and skill to produce. Your work requires your touch! -You must not sub-license, resell, redistribute, provide access to, share or transfer any assets as source files and graphics to a third party under any circumstances - You may not resell my clip art or patterns "as-is" or with only minor changes on Etsy and printshops, Print-on-Demand services - To sell more than 500 end products, you will need to purchase an extended commercial license: https://www.etsy.com/ca/listing/949856902/extended-license-small-clipart-set-2-55? Just a tiny bit more 80's nostalgia before I continue... I grew up in a small community between Seattle and Tacoma. (Here is the link to part 1 & part 2 of this article). It was a fun place to grow up. I lived about two blocks from the beach and spent most of my childhood outside boating, fishing, swimming, building rope swings, etc. Here's a recent flyover of the area: In the late 80's I went to college in Seattle at the University of Washington. I lifted weights 5-6 days per week at the gym on campus...and during the

In making this rosary, I had the Divine Mercy picture in mind done by Sr. Faustina. Each decade is a different color to attempt to match the idea behind the red, crystal white, and aqua blue tones, which are 6 x 8 mm in size. Help your primary students master counting to 100 or 120 with these fun and interactive number sequencing number mazes. Your students will love grabbing bingo daubers (or crayons) to work their way through the maze by counting numbers in sequence. This differentiated resource allows you to work on counting numbers 1 - 20 and build on that all the way to 120. Each set of mazes (by decade) includes two options: a "regular" maze with empty spaces and a "challenge" maze where all spaces on the chart are filled and students must identify the proper path. This set of number mazes helps students gradually learn to count and recognize numbers from 1 to 120. Students begin at 1 and color each number in sequence to complete the maze. Your students will love completing these number sequencing mazes as part of morning work, math centers, small group instruction, for independent practice, as an early finisher activity or for homework. They are the perfect activity to help you prepare for the 100th day of school! Number Mazes for Sequencing Numbers to 120 includes: Number Maze for Counting 1 - 20 (2 options included) Number Maze for Counting 1 - 30 (2 options included) Number Maze for Counting 1 - 40 (2 options included) Number Maze for Counting 1 - 50 (2 options included) Number Maze for Counting 1 - 60 (2 options included) Number Maze for Counting 1 - 70 (2 options included) Number Maze for Counting 1 - 80 (2 options included) Number Maze for Counting 1 - 90 (2 options included) Number Maze for Counting 1 - 100 (2 options included) Number Maze for Counting 1 - 110 (2 options included) Number Maze for Counting 1 - 120 (2 options included) Answer Keys See What Other Teachers Are Saying . . . ⭐⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ My students loved these mazes, and I loved that I could easily differentiate to challenge my "high-flyers," as well as provide for the needs of my students who weren't ready for as much of a challenge yet. ⭐⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ My students LOVE doing these every Friday as a warm-up. We "practice" with the side that has blanks and then we do the side where all the boxes are filled in. They love this and it makes it easy for students who need more practice with counting. ⭐⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ What a fun, engaging way to develop that number fluency, especially for my math strugglers. This is such a fun math center activity that they can do independently. I just love your products and blog. Thank you so much! If you're looking for a fun way for secondary students to review parts of speech while encouraging critical thinking skills, this is it! This resource provides students with a passage about a mystery animal. Bolded words throughout the passage are scrambled. Each scrambled word is numbered. Students unscramble the word, determine which part of speech that word is, and then use the corresponding key to determine how to color the attached color-by-number sheet. When completed properly, the color-by-number reveals the animal described in the passage. This is a great way for students to self-assess their understanding of each part of speech. Are the parts of speech I’m identifying corresponding to colors that make sense in the image? The added element of the word scramble provides an additional challenge for students. If they are struggling to unscramble the word, they can still reason through what part of speech the word should be depending on its place in the sentence. What better way to combine critical thinking and creativity? Currently, the resource is built to include common nouns, proper nouns, prepositions, verbs, adverbs, adjectives, pronouns, articles, and conjunctions. However, the product is easily editable. You could swap out one part of speech for another with very little prep. You cannot add or remove parts of speech without replacing them, though. There must be nine to correspond with the color-number ratio on the product. Answer key included! Thank you for purchasing! FAQs What is the quality of the metal used in this mini tennis necklace? Is this tennis-style necklace made of solid gold, or is it gold-plated? Our tennis necklaces are made of solid 14k gold. We do not make tennis necklaces that are plated, filled, or vermeil because we believe that these materials are not as durable as solid gold. For instance, base metals such as sterling silver may be less durable and prone to tarnishing, while other metals such as copper may not be as malleable and could break or crack over time. For those seeking a long-lasting and durable tennis necklace, we highly recommend opting for a solid gold or platinum piece. These materials are incredibly strong and resilient and maintain their shine and luster over time, making them an excellent investment. This particular tennis necklace can be purchased through our website in 14k yellow gold, 14k rose gold and 14k white gold. None of our 14k gold contains nickel. Our white gold has rhodium plating. If you want an 18k gold or platinum tennis necklace, please contact us to customize a gold tennis chain. What quality diamonds are used in this thin tennis necklace? We take pride in using only high-quality diamonds in our small tennis necklaces. Specifically, we use GH SI diamonds or higher, which are of exceptional quality and brilliance. While some retailers may use diamonds that are HI or even J in color, we firmly believe that diamonds of this quality won't produce the same level of sparkle and radiance as those of GH quality or higher. We understand that purchasing a women’s tennis necklace is an investment, and we want to ensure that our customers get the most value. This is why we prioritize using only the best diamonds in our jewelry. Consumers must check the diamond quality when purchasing a tennis necklace or any other diamond jewelry. The quality of the diamonds used will significantly impact the overall look and feel of the piece. Diamonds of lower quality may appear lackluster or dull, detracting from the beauty and elegance of the jewelry. What carat weight is this small diamond tennis chain? This tennis necklace contains .02 carat individual diamonds. The entire tennis necklace weighs approximately 5 carats. What is the return policy for this real diamond tennis necklace? We are proud to offer made-to-order jewelry, including our tennis necklaces. This means we can customize each piece according to our customer's preferences, whether changing the metal type, the shape of the diamonds, the gemstone, or the length. We understand that our customers have unique tastes and preferences, and we want to ensure that they receive a tennis necklace that perfectly matches their vision. This made-to-order process allows us to create truly one-of-a-kind pieces that our customers will treasure for years to come. However, it's important to note that because each piece is made to each customer's specific requests, we do not hold inventory and are unable to accept returns on our women’s tennis necklaces. We take great care to ensure that our customers are happy with their designs before we begin crafting their small diamond tennis necklaces. Therefore, it's essential for customers to thoroughly review their design and ensure that it's exactly what they want before placing an order. Can I see a certificate of authenticity or grading report for the gemstones? Diamonds of the size used in our mini tennis necklaces are not typically GIA certified, as certification is generally reserved for larger diamonds. We take great care to ensure that our diamonds are of the highest quality, selecting diamonds with exceptional clarity, cut, and color to ensure your real diamond tennis necklace sparkles. We are always happy to answer any questions that our customers may have about the sourcing and quality of our gemstones. What does a tennis chain look like? Tennis necklaces are a type of classic diamond necklace that features a continuous row of diamonds set in a delicate chain. These necklaces are known for their elegant simplicity and timeless style, but many people wonder about the origins of the name "tennis necklace." Why is it called a tennis necklace? The term "tennis necklace" originated from an incident during the 1987 US Open Tennis Championship. A professional tennis player, Chris Evert was competing in a match when she realized that her diamond bracelet had fallen off her wrist. She asked the officials to pause the game until her bracelet could be found, and the incident was widely reported in the media. After the incident, diamond bracelets like Evert's began to be referred to as "tennis bracelets." The term was later applied to necklaces that feature the same continuous row of diamonds, and the name "tennis necklace" was born. Can these small tennis necklaces be customized? We pride ourselves on allowing our customers to customize their jewelry to meet their unique preferences and needs. This includes our small diamond tennis necklaces, which can be customized in various ways. One of the benefits of working with us is that we offer a wide range of customization options for our tennis necklaces - endless possibilities. We can change the gemstones, the size, the length, the setting, and more. Whether you want to create a truly one-of-a-kind piece or make a few tweaks to one of our existing designs, we can work with you to make it happen. Some of our most popular customizations for our gemstone tennis necklaces include graduated diamond tennis necklace styles, which feature diamonds of varying sizes for a unique and eye-catching look. We can also customize by adding a chain to your preferred style, whether you prefer a delicate and dainty curb chain or something more substantial, like a paperclip chain. In addition to customizing the diamond size and chain, we can add other shapes and types of gemstones to create a truly personalized look. Birthstones, for example, can be alternated with diamonds to create a special piece that represents the wearer's family members or loved ones. Our team of experienced jewelers is dedicated to bringing your vision to life. Every piece of jewelry should be as unique and special as the person wearing it, and we are committed to helping you create the perfect tennis necklace that reflects your individual style and preferences. What other settings are available for tennis necklaces? We understand that everyone has different tastes and preferences when it comes to their jewelry. That's why we offer a wide range of customization options for our tennis necklaces, including various settings to suit your individual style. While the most common setting for tennis necklaces is the classic 4-prong setting, we offer a variety of other settings to choose from. One popular option is the bezel setting, which e

ARE you already imagining it framed on your wall? Or could it be a perfect gift to a friend or a loved one? Decades that passed had soaked this map in wanderlust-ness you are looking for. Genuine vintage look, smell & feel - it's got it all. If you decide to buy it you've helped me in my quest to give it what it deserves - a new life. MAP was printed in 1897, as part of "The World-Wide Atlas of Modern Geography". This is a map of southern part of Germany. This is vintage original, not a scan, modern reproduction or color print. Due to its age it is expected for it to show some signs of use. A serious map collector would probably notice trace of binding removal on the top side and a few smudges and stains. But this is a map from a vintage atlas that was used by numerous generations. Imagine how many dreams of distant lands and plans for some grand voyage has this map witnessed. So what all these imperfections really are is the proof that this map is soaked in travel dreams, the wanderlust-ness that you are looking for. MEASUREMENTS 9.8 x 12.2 in / 25 x 31 cm SHIPPING your map will be carefully placed in a clear plastic sleeve/foil for protection and will be sent in a kraft tube box. It will be shipped as a Priority Registered mail within three working days. You will get the tracking number once the order is shipped. Approximate transit/delivery times for Europe is 3-5 working days and for other continents 5-12 working days. BY THE WAY.. Vintage Express pledges that $1 from each order goes to fund Kiva micro-loans. Almost every second person is living in poverty and though they all, just like you and me, have basic needs for food, shelter or education - most of them do not have access to basic financial services. Formal financial institutions consider them to be “unbankable”. Kiva is a non-profit organization with a mission to expand financial access to help underserved communities thrive. Vintage Express uses Kiva.org micro-lending platform as a tool to help alleviate poverty & make a real difference in someone’s life.
