Ce magnifique décor Art nouveau de la salle de restaurant de l’hôtel Langham, avait disparu, caché derrière des cloisons, lorsqu’en 1978, le nouveau propriétaire décide d’agrandir le restaurant et le redécouvre en voulant faire passer des gaines d’aération !... Ce pavillon tout en verrière, avait été construit en 1898 dans la cour de l’hôtel Langham, par l’architecte Emile Hurtre, et décoré par le peintre Jules Wielharski. Eddy Mitchell est un habitué de ce restaurant et Léo Malet avait sa place réservée, signalée par une plaque de cuivre. (carte postale offerte par le patron)
