Welcome to Paper Pumpkin Week here on Creative Chelsey. Over the next couple days, I am going to share with you 7 card ideas you can make with one set of supplies from the June 2024 Paper Pumpkin Kit called Life Is Sweet. The kit creates a total of 9 greeting cards 3 in three different designs. If you would like to watch me unbox the kit and create these cards click on the playlist below. https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL40dV1oxpkNm0O0mbxJE2tVmvp6HOd0MQ This is the second alternative card I will be sharing with you this week. This Thank You Card is so cute with the orange and green color scheme. I also love the bold greeting that really pops. Each month I take the contents from the paper pumpkin kits and make alternative projects. My cards are easy to follow and can be made by both experienced or new paper crafter. You may need just a couple other products to complete them. You can follow along with me using supplies you already have or purchase any products you see me use from my online store. Cut the front piece to 4 ¼” x 5 ½”. 2- Trim off the folded edge from the Peach Envelope. From the back piece cut a piece that is 2 ½” x 4 ¼”. 3- Cut the Blue Cardbase in half at 4 ¼”. Then cut one side down to 2” x 4 ¼”. 4- From the Gimmer Paper remove ¼” from one side. Cut down to 4 ¼” x ¼”. 5- Splatter any green marker over the Green Envelope piece. I used Shaded Spruce. Add this to the front of the Thick Basic White Cardbase. 6- Layer the Blue Pattern piece on the Peach Envelope piece with a small border (about 1/8”) at the top. Then add the Glimmer Strip at the bottom so the bottom border is about the same as the top. 7- Stamp a greeting in Shy Shamrock ink in the top left corner of the Blue Pattern piece. Add this to the cardbase with about 1 ¼” at the top. 8- Layer a section of the Dark Green Fern Die in the bottom left corner. Trim off the excess. (10:40) Add it to the top right corner. 10- Add the large Peach Dies with dimensionals in the open area on the right side of the greeting. I placed the darker peach behind and closer to the top. The lighter peach is close to the greeting. 11- Cut out thanks with the Thanks & Beyond from Shaded Spruce Cardstock. Add under the stamped greeting with dimensionals. Hi Everyone and welcome to Paper Pumpkin Week here on Creative Chelsey. This week I will be sharing with you 10 card ideas you can make with one set of supplies from the April 2024 Paper Pumpkin Kit called Delicate Wings. The projects from this kit are really beautiful with dark moody colors and delicate champagne foil details. This kit creates a total of 9 greeting cards 3 in three different designs. If you would like to watch me unbox the kit and create these cards click on the playlist below. https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL40dV1oxpkNk7DgxndZoZGIi7X4yTLoY3 This is the second set of alternative cards I will be sharing with you this week. These two cards use the Lost Lagoon Cardbase to create simple and easy cards. I also use the Label & Butterfly Die cut from the Thanks & Beyond Add-On Dies as the center element. I love how these dies coordinate perfectly with this kit. Follow the template below. Use the sections with PP2 (Second Set of Paper Pumpkin Alternatives). You can click on image to enlarge. 2- Cut the Lost Lagoon Cardbase into sections. Follow the template below. Use the sections with PP2 (Second Set of Paper Pumpkin Alternatives). You can click on image to enlarge. Card #1 Lost Lagoon Cardbase – 5 ½” x 8 ½” scored at 4 ¼” Basic White Cardstock – 1 1/8” x 5 ½” & 5/8” x 2 ¾” Lost Lagoon Cardbase (kit) – 1” x 5 ½” Large Multicolor Butterfly (kit) Gray, Lost Lagoon, Moody Mauve Small Butterflies (kit) Champagne Foil (kit) – 3/8” x 3 ¼” Basic Gray Ink Spot (kit) 1- Add the Lost Lagoon strip to the large white strip with the extra showing on the right side. Add this to the cardbase on the left. 2- Stamp the splatter image with Basic Gray ink randomly on the cardbase, stay away from the strips. I did some on the top left & bottom right area, then created a circle in the center where I will place the butterflies. 3- Add the Large Butterfly with dimensionals on the left of center over the strips. 4- Stamp your greeting on the small white strip with Basic Gray ink. Add the Champagne strip under the greeting with the excess on the left. Angle the edge. Add to the card on the right side with dimensionals only on the right, the left with overlap the butterfly. 5- Add the other three smaller butterflies around the greeting and large butterfly with dimensionals. 6- If you want add some embellishments, I used the Sparkle Gems. Card #2 Pool Party Cardbase – 5 ½” x 8 ½” scored at 4 ¼” Basic White Cardstock – scrap for greeting Pool Party Cardstock – scrap for die cut Thanks & Beyond Dies Lost Lagoon Ink Pad Lost Lagoon Cardbase (kit) – 3 ¼” x 5 ½” Envelope (kit ) – back piece Champagne Foil (kit) – ¼” x 3 ¼” Basic Gray Ink Spot (kit) 1- Add the Lost Lagoon piece to the center of the cardbase. 2- Die cut the label from the Thanks & Beyond Die from the back of the Envelope. Add this a little higher than center of the cardbase. 3- Angle the ends of the Champagne Foil strip and add to the center of the label. 4- Cut the Butterfly using both dies from Pool Party cardstock. Add to the center of the label with a small dimensional under the center of the butterfly and a glue dot along the outer edge. This will add more dimension to the wings. Slightly bend the center wings up. 5- Stamp “Sending Loving” in Basic White on White Cardstock and fussy cut. Add this to the center of the butterfly with a small dimensional in the center. 6- To finish the greeting, stamp “thoughts your way” in Basic Gray in the center on the inside. If you want add the Butterfly stamp in Lost Lagoon ink over the greeting. I have also created a video walking you through each step. Hello stamping friends. Thank you for joining me on my blog today. I hope that you've had a fantastic week and are having fabulous day! Today I'm participating in a blog hop for the CASE-ing the Catty Design Team, to kick off the new challenge for the week. If you come here from Kathryn Mangelsdorf's blog welcome, if you've started here with me also welcome. We are about CASE-ing the samples from the Stampin' Up! Catalogues with a different theme to CASE each week. To CASE is to Copy And Selectively Edit. This week we are CASE-ing any project in the 2024 - 2025 Annual Catalogue. I was drawn to this gorgeous sample from the Annual catalogue that uses the Cutest Onesie Bundle found on on pg. 64. It's one of those samples that sometimes "If you blink you'll miss it" but I loved the design of it and thought it was perfect to CASE. I thought this little 3"x 3" card/gift tag/ gift card would be perfect to use with some of the new products that I've just recieved in my Sept-Dec Mini Catalogue preorder. I've created these 4 3"x 3" card/gift tag/ gift cards using the new A Little Bit Festive Specialty Designer Series Paper, the Mix & Match Ephemera, and the Reindeer Days Memories & More Card Pack from the up coming 2024 Sept-Dec Holiday Catalogue. So another sneak peek for you all. These three products all have similar colours and all work so well when used together. I'm loving these products! They make for fun, easy and quick crafting with your own personal touch. All four cards have kept the same design as the original sample with the use of the different DSP patterns and the Stylish Shapes circle embossed with the Forever Plaid 3D Embossing Folder (also from the 2024 Sept-Dec Mini Catalogue) and then it was just a matter of changing up the pre-cut pieces to coordinate with the colours in each DSP pattern. Each card is then finished off with various ribbon, trim and embellishments. I've used some new ones from the new Mini Catalogue like the Pool Party Pompom Ribbon and the Drusy Adhesive-Backed Embellishments and used some trusty old faithful trims like Linen Thread and Black & Very Vanilla Large Check Ribbon from the Annual Catalogue. I hope I've inspired you with my CASE of an Annual Catalogue sample. Be sure to look at each and every sample in the Annual Catalogue as even the smallest of projects may help you with your creative ideas. There are lots of AMAZING creations from the rest of the CASE-ing the Catty Crew so be sure to make your way around the whole hop to get inspiration from the CTC team. Next up on the hop is the lovely Rebecca Scurr with her fabulous creation. Julia Quinn Kathryn Mangelsdorf Rochelle Blok - You are here Rebecca Scurr Peta Stephen Rachel Palmieri Rochelle Laird-Smith Monique Fielder We would love to have you join us over at our Facebook group to share your creation CASE-ing a project from the 2024 - 2025 Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue and join in this weeks challenge. You don't need to have a blog to join in! Thanks so much for stopping by! Happy Stamping! Live in Australia? Welcome to Paper Pumpkin Week here at Creative Chelsey. I love getting my Paper Pumpkin Kit every month and creating fun alternative projects using the supplies in the kit. Today I am sharing my third alternative idea using the May 2022 Paper Pumpkin Kit – Celebrating In Color. This kit comes with everything you need to make 10 Handmade Cards, 2 in five different design that all coordinate with the new 2022-2024 In Colors from Stampin’ Up!. What I like to do is use the supplies in the kit along with some other products and create different or alternative cards. Today I am sharing three cards that show how you can take your paper pumpkin cards to the next level using the stamps from the kit. I love creating alternative projects with Paper Pumpkin Kits so make sure to come back for more as I continue to create with this month’s kit. If this project inspires you to create something, I would love for you to tag me in any social media post using @creativechelsey | #creativechelsey or email me at [email protected]. Make sure to add adhesive to the center as well. Then cut down the center at 2 ¾” to create to smaller cards 2 ¾” x 4 ¼” finished size. 2- Card #1 – Stamp Happy down the center of the card three times. Then take a tissue and pat over the gold foil to remove any ink that is sitting on top. This prevents it from smudging. 3- Card #2 – Stamp You once near the top of the card. Remove ink from the gold foiling with a tissue – remember to pat so you don’t smudge it. 4- Cut the Long Banner in half at about 2 ½”. Stamp your choice of greeting to coordinate. 5- Add a faux bow with about 10” of Gold Trim to the back of each greeting. Adhere to the card with dimensionals. All Done! Card #3 1- On the Orchid Oasis Die Cut remove the circle. Then stamp Happy down the left side. 2- Cut 1 ¾” from the bottom of the cardbase. 3- Adhere the Orchid Oasis to the front of the cardbase with adhesive only at the top. Then trim off the area that is hanging past the front of the cardbase. I used a Paper Trimmer. 4- Adhere the bottom part to the inside of the cardbase. Make sure it lines up with the top of the card. 5- Remove the white cardstock inside the circle on the front of the cardbase. I used a 2 ¼” circle punch (retired). You could also use the Layering Circle dies or a pair of scissors. 6- Close the cardbase and add the Orchid Oasis circle you removed in step 1 back inside the circle with dimensionals. 7- Stamp Celebrate at the top of the You on the Circle Label. Watch video below for instructions & tips. Add the label to the center of the Orchid Oasis circle. 8- Add three enamel dots. I have also created a video walking you through each step To purchase any of the products you see in this video visit https://www.stampinup.com?demoid=2042902 Have a creative day!
