Welcome to our Paper Pumpkin Possibilities Blog Hop to share alternative design ideas for the Delicate Wings April 2024 kit. I am smitten for the champagne foil and beautiful images in this kit. These are the cards that were designed for the kit compenents. I used the Thanks & Beyond Dies Add-On for my alternative design and a Basic Gray card base. You can see that I strategically die cut the Champagne foil layer so that it will still be an adequate layer as designed behind this die cut butterfly. I placed this behind the Very Vanilla card stock butterfly that I die cut with both butterfly dies. I cut up a card base from the kit to have a layer 2-1/8 x 5" for my card. I'm really happy with my layered butterfly. And the interior has a 4 x 5-1/4" layer of Very Vanilla cardstock and I stamped the butterfly with the Basic Gray ink spot. Now join me to hop over to our other designers and their clever ideas: Blog Hop Index Don’t miss the coordinating Thanks & Beyond Dies Add-On! Today I'm sharing a few more ideas - alternate projects I created with the June 2024 Life Is Sweet Paper Pumpkin kit. I love creating with kits and have a hard time putting them down sometimes.
I love the May Paper Pumpkin Kit, Hugs from Shelli. They are all note card size. I think this is a nice variety. And of course, I love the vintage feel of all of the projects. However, there are times that I want a larger card. Once again, I needed to make a sympathy card. My son-in-law's father passed away and I wanted to give his father's wife a card. She lives in Atlanta and this image reminds me of her for some reason. I cut the card in half and adhered it to a mat of Mossy Meadow, then on a card base of Petal Pink. Add them to the left and right sides of the cardbase. 2- Cut a piece about 2 7/8” x 4 ¼” from the Purple Envelope Scraps. Add this to the center of the cardbase. There may be small gaps on either side, so place it so the gaps are even. 3- Trim the Large Leaf Die Cut on the right side by removing the two branches on the right side (see video). Add this a little to the left of center over the Purple Envelope piece. 4- If you haven’t already separate the largest & smallest Lavender Flowers from the Large Flower Die Cut. Place them over the Leaf Die Cut with dimensionals. 5- Tie a bow with 10” of Linen Thread and place in the right corner of the Purple Envelope piece. 6- Stamp your greeting on the Small Rectangle Labels. I used selective stamping and only inked “Happy” & “Day” from the “Happy Valentine’s Day” Stamp. Add these over the center of the bow with dimensionals. All Done! I have also created a video walking you through each step: To purchase any Stampin’ Up! products please visit https://www.stampinup.com?demoid=2042902 Have a creative day! Chelsey [email protected]

Hi Crafty Friends! Wow! Can I just say wow! This Paper Pumpkin kit is so wonderful. I love it!! A lot. I love the kit as designed and I think I could stamp and play with the main rose image forever. I'm excited to share my alternative projects with you on this blog hop. This kit features a Distinktive stamp and let me tell you, it is lovely. I was so thrilled to get this kit (I actually don't mind seeing spoilers, it gets me more excited to get mine) that I did a Facebook Live unboxing video. For my alternative projects, I made a card and a cute little 6x6 inch framed art piece. Isn't this card the prettiest? I used So Saffron for the card base. The Whisper White card front is 4" x 5 1/4". I stamped the rose image in stamped off Gray Granite all over the paper trying not to overlap the images too much. The flower is stamped in Calypso Coral. I stamped it two times and fussy cut them out. From the second image I just cut out the center, curled the edges with my bone folder, and popped it up with a dimensional. The leaves are stamped in Mint Macron and I cut them out too. I loved the Calypso Coral rose so much, I made it again but added an extra layer (there are three) for my frame project. The base of this project is 6" x 6" Basic Gray. It's fun to play with the layers. Here, we have Whisper White, 5" x 5" and 4" x 4". The Calypso Coral piece is 4 1/8" x 4 1/8". I used to smallest Stitched Shape square die to cut pieces from the typeset card front. I love shadow box frames because you can add lots of dimension. You can add Dimensionals to any of the layers you want. I think this project would make a great gift or it would be fun to keep for myself. Next month's kit will be amazing too. It's specially designed with Shelli Gardner, co-founder of Stampin' Up. It features vintage nature inspiration. You'll want to subscribe https://www.paperpumpkin.com by May 10th. If you don't have a demo, I'd love for you to pick me. For more inspiration with April's kit, click on the links below. Thanks so much for stopping by. Stay Crafty! Audra

Artistically Inked (154542) is a brand new stamp set (&bundle) to the new 2021Annual Catalogue. I was lucky enough to earn this stamp set for free - who doesn’t love a freebie!? To create this card I stamped all the way around the edge of a Basic White panel using all the 2021-2023 InColours (155638). They’re such funky colours. Then I embossed the greeting several times onto strips of cardstock and lay some flat on the card and some on dimensionals. I used the Lovely Labels Pick A Punch (152883) to give them a decorative finish. Don’t forget to stamp the inside panel! Here’s what I used… These colours look so great together - I think my favourite is Evening Evergreen is such a deep rich colour. Welcome to the family InColours!
