......................JEFF and SANDY'S BRIDAL PARTY.......................... ..............................Restored 1963 Paper Doll................................... ......Restored by Judy M Johnson, (c) Forget-Me-Not Publishing..... Here's a pretty wedding book, nicely painted, with well proportioned figures. It's a restored 1963 book, that was called Bridal Party but we have other books by that title, so we added names for the bride and groom and called it "Jeff and Sandy's Bridal Party." There are five dolls and six pages of clothes. Covers are on 80# cardstock, costume pages are 32#...all archival papers. Just 3 of the 6 costume pages are shown. They are all just as beautiful. Our finished stapled book size is 8.5"x11". Just a wee bit smaller than the earlier version. Permanent, archival laser printing. Covers and doll pages are on 80# coverstock, and costumes are on 32#. All nice satin finished, smooth and easy to cut. Comes in crystal clear seal-top bags. This set came with a letter. The letter says: "Little Flower Girls" Rose and Tiger Lily's costumes have been inspired by the colors of the flowers which have named them; Rose is sweet and delicate in her pinks and whites with touches of leaf green. Tiger Lily is bright in her sunshine colors of yellow, peach and orange with warm green accents. If you would like to color them, you may wish to apply them to a heavier paper (stick glue works very well) before coloring them with art pencils or watercolor. The dolls have been printed on heavy Bristol stock which requires no further stiffening. Enjoy. This book is an actual size reproduction of the artist's original watercolor paper doll art. It is limited to 25 copies only. This copy has been hand colored by; on This date; Copyright 1985 by Judy M Johnson Printed by Judy's Place, (address)
A lovely lady enjoys a day among beautiful spring trees and blooms.... This colorful 16"x20" stretched unframed canvas is rendered in bright acrylic paints with an image of a paper lady borrowed from a vintage art book and applied in a French decoupage process. Folk artist Judy Lynne Johnson paints in her studio in the beautiful Berkshire hills in Massachusetts. Her art work has been featured in a gallery in her hometown and are loved for their charming subjects... To hang: Simply rest the top back rim of the canvas painting upon a small nail or push-pin tack...
