I know you can come up with lots of ways to use this design, but here are a few ideas to get you started...decoupage, junk journal, planner, greeting card, DIY furniture transfer, scrapbooking, waterslide decal, wall decor, framed gifts, mixed media, and wood and paper craft projects. Use the design in whole, or just a section that fits your project. Search the internet for projects and unusual materials to create your own designs, and have fun! All of the digital graphics in my store are designed as instant downloads, to be printed by you on your home printer, or by a shop or print store that offers this service. Each image is extremely high quality, and has been created with enlargements in mind. After purchasing, you will receive high-resolution, scalable 300ppi JPG files in four sizes: 13”x19,” 8.5”x11,” 8”x10,” and A4 for our European friends (plus, the 13”x19” dimensions are almost identical to an A4 enlargement). No waiting for you…these are instant downloads! No physical product will be mailed. Keep in mind that all printers and computer screens differ, so your printed piece may look slightly different than the on-screen image. There are so many advantages to purchasing digital designs. No worries about ruining that one expensive decoupage sheet you paid big bucks for, just print another copy! Print a draft copy to be sure you have the exact dimensions you need, before using that pricey rice paper you bought. Use one design on multiple projects. Print an indefinite number of sizes! Are you getting the picture? This artwork can be used for your own personal use, for a client project, or as a unique gift. You’ll be happy to know you do NOT need a commercial license to use the design for a client, as long as it’s used for a physical end product! The files you download may not be shared with anyone else digitally or used in a digital product in any way, including print on demand, or listing on a POD site as your own. You may not make multiple paper prints of this design and sell them (such as greeting cards), unless they are part of a physical end product. You may make changes to the digital file to suit your needs, but you may not sell the altered file as your own. Please ask if you have questions; your satisfaction is my goal! Due to the digital nature of the files, no refunds, cancellations, or returns are allowed. Questions are always welcome; I like to keep my customers happy! I’d love to see your amazing creations using this design. If you send me a photo that I can use as an example in this listing, I will mention you by name (including your company, if you have one), and send you a free design of your choice. Sounds like a win-win to me! Thanks for stopping by!

I have tried several methods to transfer images from my favorite website, The Graphics Fairy, onto wood. The Citrasolv method works well, I've tried Mod Podge and some others, but also wanted to try using the Woodworker's Transfer tool that I learned about from Dee at A Lapin Life. I found the link on her site to buy this tool from Amazon. (It costs about $14 and qualifies for their free shipping if your total is over $25) It was really easy to learn how to use it from the directions right on the package. I started with a mirror image of a graphic from a laser copy. (Remember that if you only have an inkjet printer, just take it to Kinko's or anywhere with a big copy machine, copy it and you'll have a laser copy) I used a simple, small, beaten up fence board from Lowe's. I did sand it where I was going to apply the graphic, so it was pretty smooth in that area, but other than that, I left it in its beaten up state. I taped the graphic to the wood so it would stay in place and rubbed the heated tool over the paper. It took a couple of minutes of running the tool over the paper for the graphic to transfer onto the wood. I lifted off the paper and the graphic looked great. I stained the wood with Minwax Puritan Pine. I like this color on cedar as it's kind of dark, but still shows the graphics. Unfortunately, no one seems to carry this color anymore! After the stain dried, my husband made the box. I found some fall bushes at Michael's. I stuck them in pots with styrofoam, put some spanish moss on top and they were done. I really love the way the wood transfer tool works! Dee at A Lapin Life has a tutorial on using it to transfer graphics onto fabric as well. I think that may be my next project! High Quality Decoupage Rice Paper - plant motifs, floral motifs, background, wallpaper, collage, plants, flowers... Size A4 - 210x297 mm / 8.27x11.7 inch; paper weight 30-35 gsm The best paper to use in the decoupage technique. Perfect both for beginners and advanced users. Very thin and light, semi-transparent, naturally white. It contains typical, clearly visible fibers of irregular gauge, arranged in all directions all over the paper surface, giving it an original look and structure. The paper is unusually strong and durable, it does not disintegrate in hands. It is easy to stick to any base used in decoupage (glass, wood, mdf, polystyrene foam, etc.), with any glue used for decoupage. It is possible to lengthen it slightly while decorating rounded objects. It does not corrugate. It is surely the best alternative in the napkin technique. Bright colors, that do not wash off in contact with glue and do not fade. The overprint is done with use of a verified technology, and the design is impressive. The rice paper for decoupage does not need any previous preparation. Just glue it and stick.
Supplies needed: Acrylic dabbers, photocopy of an image, water spritzer bottle, paintbrush, card stock, craft sheet and heat tool (optional) Take the lid off the dabbers and brush the paint onto the card stock, ensure you get a good coverage Take your photocopied image ( remember that you will get a reverse of the image, so don't use bold words), flip it over and place it in the acrylic. Lightly press it down making sure it's smooth and not wrinkled Leave to air dry for at least 15 minutes and then if you wish give it a blast with the heat tool Only move onto this step when you are sure your paint is completely dry Take your water filled spritzer bottle, spray the back of the paper no more than two squirts, you don't want it too wet Next start to rub the paper very gently with your finger Keep rubbing and extra spritzing if you need too Eventually you will get rid of all the paper, but it does take a bit of patience as you have to be careful not to wet it too much and rub the image away You can do exactly the same on a canvas Apparently the paint in the acrylic dabbers is slightly different to other acrylics as it is more chalky and that's why the transfers work best with these paints. But you can use other mediums. I tried it with Jo Sonia's background paints but didn't get such a good effect

Lately, some of my favorite pictures have been on Instagram and I've been looking for creative ways to display them. Turns out that transferring them onto canvas and wood is easy and gives the images a cool weathered touch that I really love. You can find canvas or wood blocks that are square which is perfect for Instagram photos. I've put together a tutorial showing how I made the canvas photo transfer. The process is exactly the same for making a wood photo transfer. Canvas Photo Transfer Tutorial / Wood Photo Transfer Tutorial Supplies needed: Canvas or Wood Block Image printed from an inkjet printer on regular printer paper (not photo paper). Also, print your image in reverse if possible. This is especially important if your image has words on it. Gel Medium Sponge Mod Podge Water and wet sponge or rag (not shown) Step 1) Spread a nice, even, thin coating of gel medium on your canvas or wood block. Do not let it get gloppy or thick in any spots or the paper will rip when you put the picture on. Also, do not miss any spots or the ink will not transfer in that area. Step 2) Carefully place your image face down on the canvas or wood block. Make sure the image is straight and places where you want it because you will not be able to move it once it’s down. Step 3) Use your hands to firmly press down and rub over your image. Make sure not to miss any spots. If you have any globs of gel medium underneath, try to push them out to the sides and wipe away any excess. Step 4) Let your image dry over night. You want it to dry for 8 – 24 hours. Step 5) After the image has been sitting for at least 8 hours, use a wet sponge or rag and saturate the image. Step 6) Lightly rub and carefully begin removing the paper from the image. I found using your hands instead of the sponge worked a little better. The ink will be transferred to the canvas or wood. When working with canvas, do not rub too aggressively or the ink will come off. Alternately, if you want a weathered look in some areas or on the edges, rub aggressively in those spots and the ink will begin to pull away. Step 7) Once the image is how you want it, let it dry. After it is dry, spread an even coating of Mod Podge over your canvas or wood block to seal the image. That’s it! Now you have a cool image to place in your home or give as a gift. Happy DIY’ing! ~julee~ Tweet
