You’re free to live your life as you please, so long as you’re not harming anyone. I stand by that statement because I believe that autonomy, the freedom of choice, and the ability to decide for ourselves what’s truly best for us are what separates civilization from chaos. The grown-up thing to do is to respect each other’s rational choices, even if we might do things differently ourselves. So, for instance (and full disclosure): I come from a large family and I want to have a large family of my own, however, I know that having children isn’t the right choice for everyone. I’m fine with that. Some others? Not so much.
We see and use regular-sized things every day. But today, they are taking a back seat as we explore the world of gigantic things! Referred to as “absolute units," they are a huge deal in the internet world.
There's something about classical art that just turns me off. Endless portraits of pale and plump aristocrats looking all fancy in the classical paintings, bucolic rural scenes, religious iconography... When everyone’s walking on their tiptoes, profusely sweating their stress off on what people call the most important day of their life, little things can take an unexpected turn. I mean, both wedding planning and the ceremony itself are an unofficial test of our sanity, so it’s no surprise that surprises do happen.

Those almost hard-to-comprehend numbers of followers that we see near the names of celebrities' social media accounts can make it seem as if there's no way they could ever notice us. Luckily (or not), it's not as impossible as it sometimes appears to be. As it turns out, some folks out there manage to not only grab the attention of someone famous but even get the pleasure of being blocked by them.
“A picture is worth a thousand words”—a phrase most of us have heard before. And for a reason. Photographs can capture loads of information in just a split second and immortalize it for years to come. By freezing moments, photographers enable us to travel to places and times we’ve never witnessed ourselves. They allow us to see the world exactly as it was, whether it was yesterday or a hundred years ago.

My name is Davide Sasso and with those photos I tried to simulated the the view of a colortblind affected by Tritanopia. Tritanopia is a form of color blindness in which the retina is deficient in or lacks cone cells containing opsins that respond to the color blue, resulting in an inability to distinguish blue from green. There are several variations of vision deficiency, such as Deuteranomalia (which makes everything look a little faded), Protanopia (which makes everything seem a little green), and as I said, Tritanopia (greenish-pink tones).
