This is a unique, one of a kind, naturally twisted, sweet Chestnut wood wand. Handmade myself. It has a beautiful and rare twist formation that is prized by Druids and Mages alike. They are naturally formed by Honeysuckle vines growing up the tree by following the movement of the sun from east to west and thus twining around the branch tightly and influencing the growth of the tree into the twist formation. The wood for this wand has been ecologically sourced, in a magical woodland, on the banks of the river Wye, here in the ancient shires of Mid Wales. The length of this wand is 38cm This wand will be delivered to you in a custom handmade sheath. This is a quality sheath with a leather tie and pure copper closing beads, handmade our selves. This whole wand has been energetically cleansed. In British folklore and legend, wands made from chestnut wood are said to encourage longevity, increase energy, enhance intuition, and help with grounding and centring of energies. Chestnut wood can also be used to make talismans for justice, success, and to encourage a receptive and compassionate mind. Druids often made staffs and wands from Chestnut wood, because the physical connection to the wood allowed the user to draw longevity and invigoration from the wood. Sitting under a Chestnut tree will help ground and clarify the mind during periods of meditation. I kafić gde možete popiti sok, kafu...

Wood sculpture on Canvas From a limited edition of 5 Size : 46 x 46 x 50cm Ready to hang Signed and numbered certificate of authenticity Style : Geometric Subject : Abstract and non-figurative The “Formation” project is inspired by many factors, including phenomena that we can observe in nature, society and in a human being. It is a sign of life and development. Even the least moving creatures like plants and trees are changing their color and shape throughout the life cycle. They are responding to external conditions of existence by growing- stretching to the source of light, digging deeper for water. However, the inanimate nature is not as static as you might think. The movement is a pledge of development, and its dynamics illustrates the nature of a change.

The bowl features an almost iridescent resin inlay which highlights the natural beauty burr pattern in the stunning elm wood, creating a unique one-of-a-kind statement piece. Hand-turned in our small workshop at the edge of the Peak District, the unusual patterns and colours in this beautiful bowl, arise from a natural process called burr or burl formation. Wood burr or burl formation is generally the result of some form of stress on the tree, this could be an injury or an infection, which leads to grain growing in a deformed manner. For us working with burr is a beautiful reminder how the daily challenges and stresses we experience, make us who we are. Just as the stunning burr patterns, each and every challenge we overcome, adds to our story. The intricate patterns that are created through burr formation, make burr or burl wood some of the most sought after wood for wood workers. We hope that this bowl acts as daily reminder of the beauty and strength of nature and how the challenges we face make us more resilient and bring out our inner strength. Beautiful in it's own right as a decorative piece, this bowl could also be used as a storage bowl, for small items such as craft or stationary supplies, jewellery, keys or as a small fruit bowl as a wonderful addition to any table. The bowl is 14.8cm wide and 6.8cm high. These measurements are the external dimensions of the bowl and are measured to +/- 1 cm. As wood is an organic material, it can naturally warp and change over time, so all measures are approximate. While the bowl is finished with a moisture-resistant coating, it is not entirely waterproof. That means that the wood finish is susceptible to moisture damage over time. To keep it looking its best, avoid soaking or exposing the bowl to prolonged moisture, as the moisture can still penetrate the wood fibres, causing swelling and compromising the finish. Eventually, excess water can lead to warping or cracking, so take care to keep your wooden items dry and well-maintained. We want your wooden gifts to last for years, so here are some simple tips to follow. If it needs it, give your item a quick wipe with a damp cloth, then dry it immediately with a towel. Never put the product in the dishwasher, store it in the fridge, use it to store or hold moist/wet items or let items such as fruit 'go off' in it, as it may stain.

ORIGINAL SANDSTONE SWIRL SCULPTURE This is a rare, one-of-a-kind, vintage home decor item. I found this piece when I was on a trip over 25 years ago to California Wine Country and happened upon an amazing studio of craftsmen who hand-design each item of sandstone sculptures they create. I was immediately entranced BY this beautiful sculpture. Its beauty radiates from its intricate and highly detailed organic form, reminiscent of dunes with swirling sand formations or nature's intricate detailing found on tree bark. It is both artistic and artisanal in its unique design and flawless execution. Sculpted with a free-flowing design, its craftsmanship is superb. The natural growth pattern is highlighted in this collectors lapis, making it the focal point with dramatic effect. Like the rings of a tree, you can observe what pressures and conditions were present during its formation like a window into the past. And it looks pretty cool to boot. Weighing almost half a pound and measuring 49.4mm across, this piece is large enough to draw attention, but still compact enough to fit anywhere. This is an untreated example, and it comes with its own wooden display stand.
