Do you need something to target articulation that's flexible and no print/no prep? And can be used for mixed groups and homework? This resource checks all the boxes! This resource contains 21 SCENES, each one targeting a different phoneme in mixed word positions. The following sounds are included on their own page: m, n, p, b, t, d, k, g, s, z, f, v, th, sh, ch, j, l, r, s-blends, l-blends, r-blends Each of the above sounds includes TWO versions: a FULL-COLOR and a BLACK-LINE for easy printing. The first page of the PDF allows you to click to be taken to either the printable or no print section, and from there select the phoneme you wish to view or print. There are 10 target words per page, and a checklist (with both the word and the picture) is included on each page. The no print version contains clickable checkboxes, while the printable version can be checked off using a writing utensil as the pictures are found. Ways to use this resource: This resource can be used as an articulation activity in therapy for target sounds at the word, phrase, sentence, or structured conversation level (more ideas below). It can also be used as a quick check of a child’s current achievement of their sounds before progress reports or after a break. Additionally, it works well to stimulate language (verbs, description, vocabulary, prepositions, etc.). Lastly, you can use this as a stimuli when screening articulation. PRINT: Each scene in this resource is also provided in black line for easy, color-free printing. Students can circle, color, or stamp the target words in the scene. These are also great to send home for homework! NO PRINT: The pictures can be used on computer, iPad, or teletherapy platforms using PDF reader apps. Students can find each of the target words in the scene, and practice using their target sounds in words, phrases, or sentences. For more articulation resources, see: Order Up! Jackson Pollock American, 1912-1956 One: Number 31, 1950, 1950 Oil and enamel on unprimed canvas, 8' 10" x 17' 5 5/8" Sidney and Harriet Janis Collection Fund (by exchange) Gallery label text, 2006: This is one of three wallsize paintings that Pollock realized in swift succession in the summer and autumn of 1950. In 1947, Pollock began laying canvas on the floor and pouring, dribbling, and flicking enamel paint onto the surface, sometimes straight from the can, or with sticks and stiffened brushes. The density of interlacing liquid threads of paint is balanced and offset by puddles of muted colors and by allover spattering. The pictorial result of this tension is a landmark in the history of Abstract Expressionism. Publication excerpt from The Museum of Modern Art, MoMA Highlights, New York: The Museum of Modern Art, revised 2004, originally published 1999, p. 194: One is a masterpiece of the "drip," or pouring, technique, the radical method that Pollock contributed to Abstract Expressionism. Moving around an expanse of canvas laid on the floor, Pollock would fling and pour ropes of paint across the surface. One is among the largest of his works that bear evidence of these dynamic gestures. The canvas pulses with energy: strings and skeins of enamel, some matte, some glossy, weave and run, an intricate web of tans, blues, and grays lashed through with black and white. The way the paint lies on the canvas can suggest speed and force, and the image as a whole is dense and lushyet its details have a lacelike filigree, a delicacy, a lyricism. The Surrealists' embrace of accident as a way to bypass the conscious mind sparked Pollock's experiments with the chance effects of gravity and momentum on falling paint. Yet although works like One have neither a single point of focus nor any obvious repetition or pattern, they sustain a sense of underlying order. This and the physicality of Pollock's method have led to comparisons of his process with choreography, as if the works were the traces of a dance. Some see in paintings like One the nervous intensity of the modern city, others the primal rhythms of nature.

I've been chomping at the bit to make one of these Bionic Gear Bags! I riled up a few pals to make them too! I found it because I was looking for a needle book with a grid to make as Goodie Gifts for our Spring Retreat. I came across this image on Google and trotted off to Craftsy.com to buy the pattern for it! Bionic Needle Organizer Wallet Well after that, true to "Jan-Form"....I ended up clicking through links and searching some more. That's when I realized that the Needle book was actually an ACCESSORY to a much COOLER item! Bionic Gear Bag, Dumpling Dish & Needle Wallet Bionic Gear Bag "Tricked Out" Pockets Several people in the Facebook group asked for details of what I did to "trick out" my pockets. The pattern designer has a very unique way of writing patterns. It's very very long (wordy), but she says early on that she wrote it in this manner so that you can feel like you are sitting along beside her making the project with her! If you are a thorough instruction reader, you'll love it. If you are the type of quilter that goes right for the bullet points, cutting list and pictures....you WILL struggle with this pattern. Any way, at the point in building the bag that you can add features to the zipper pockets, she tells you. And makes some suggestions! Here's what I did: Added Magnetic Snaps to the bag AND the Dumpling Dish so that I can stand stuff up behind the bowl without the bowl moving. A small pocket for my screwdriver\or thimble. (Mostly screwdriver - I am the resident "Vintage sewing machine fixing person" at every sewing gathering...so I always need it to rescue a machine from it's owner Small square Vinyl pockets on THREE of the pockets. The paper tab that is in there was the thing I used to determine size. I swear I forget what's in zippered pockets, so a label to fill out is really helpful to me! Couple of different small sections of elastic, spaced for specific tools. I want to be able to stand up and easily grab certain things while I'm working and have a quick place to put them back Vinyl on 4th zipper pouch. One side is for Index cards (shopping lists, or "put-it-in-the-BGB-list", etc. and the other is for business cards.(Grin - MY business cards) Bionic Gear Bag Closed. I spent a LOT of time making sure the binding was perfect and it was totally worth it. I can't tell you how many projects I've done where the last step is to "bind" and it makes the entire project look like crap. It's one of the most valuable things I've learned from the By Annie Classes I'm taking. GLUE BASTE BINDING!!! THEN SEW!!
