SUPER SECONDS FESTIVAL - END OF LINE A beautifully detailed watercolour bee painting printed on to luxury lightly textured 300gsm paper. A luxury bee card for all occasions This is one of my first card designs, and has been very popular. It is very versatile - a luxury card to just write a little note and say hello, a birthday card, a thank you card… whatever you can think of. It is a high quality elegant card for all occasions. The illustration on this bee card is printed with vegetable inks from a hand painted watercolour illustration, which includes lovely careful definition and the wings have intricate detail to them. The design has been carefully printed on the card, making it look very much like the original watercolour painting, and the lightly textured card it is printed on adds to this effect as it is quite similar to watercolour paper. ~ Designed and made in the U.K.~ Blank inside for your own message.~ Comes with an opaque white envelope.

Hi! I am back today with a look at more products from the new January Release from Taylored Expressions. All the new products are available at the TE web store NOW. Today I am sharing products that work perfectly for different occasions throughout the year and are quick and easy to create! My first card is created with the new Flip the Lace Stamp Set and Flip the Lace Die. I stamped the beautiful lace pattern on Sugar Cube Cardstock with Versamark Ink and then embossed with TE Black Embossing Powder. I also die cut the Flip the Lace Die from Oreo Cardstock to edge the lace pattern. I used the birthday sentiment on the card, but the stamp set comes with five great sentiments that can be used throughout the year. I finished off the card with a few of the new Bits & Pieces - Drip Dots. Here is a look at the new In Your Corner Stamp Set and TE's {Boxed In} Corners, a set of 12 pre-printed 4" x 5 1/4" panels featuring hand-drawn doodle borders (two each of six unique designs) on Sugar Cube cardstock. There are four sentiments in the In Your Corner Stamp Set. I created two cards that can be used for many occasions. The stamp set also includes sentiments for Fall and Christmas. I simply stamped the flowers in the corners and colored with Copic Markers. On this card I die cut and matted the sentiment with the Stitched Circle Stacklets and the Petite Scallop Circle Stacklets. On the second card I brushed the white background with Potato Chip Ink and then stamped the colored the flowers. Thanks for stopping by! I will be back tomorrow with a more projects. If you'd like to see more projects and new product information, please head over to the TE Blog for a complete list of our participating designers! Hello again and welcome! It’s Karen here today and I’ve got a card that I actually made a while ago, but have since made a video for it that I want to share with you. I think of this card as being appropriate for a masculine card, so I’m going with that! It features the adorable frogs from the “Frogs” stamp set from Gerda Steiner Designs and I added a few images from the “Lucky Duck” stamp set as well. If you would like to see a video of how I made this card, I have it posted on my YouTube channel and you can CLICK HERE to view it. After copic colouring my images and cutting them out, I added glossy accents to all the frogs eyes and set them aside to dry. To create a shiny green cardstock for the happy birthday circles on the front, I combined some Nuvo glacier paste in Pineapple Delight and Sea Sprite to make a bright green, and spread that out on cardstock in a circle pattern. When it was dry, I used the Simon Says Stamp “Birthday Circle” die to cut it out. I also used this die to cut some circles from black cardstock. I stacked about 3 circles from white cardstock and added a final layer in the green for my center circle, then glued this in the center of my front panel. I glued down portions of circles around this in a mix of the black and green die cuts. I cut the hands from the front frog, trimmed his chest to fit in the circle, and then glued his hands down onto the center ring. Finally, I added dots with some of the copic markers I had used for the images, and added glossy accents to the dots. For the inside of the card, I watercoloured a small piece of watercolour paper in a mix of blues and greens to make my pond. I used Distress Oxide Faded Jeans to stencil over the water with a stencil from The Crafters Workshop called Mini Sea Bubbles. I freestyle cut this piece to resemble a pond. I die cut two grassy borders for the triangle pop up. You could use any straight grassy border in your supplies or even make your own border by cutting grass into 2 pieces of cardstock temporarily adhered together. I used a die from Paper Roses called Cattails and Grass border die. I then used brown copic markers to colour the cattails and Distress Oxide in Mowed Lawn for the grasses. I coloured both grassy borders, but for the one in back, remember that you actually colour the wrong side of the die cut. I creased both of these grassy die cuts at 1/4” from the straight edge, creased the folds and added double sided adhesive to the folds. Next, I adhered the right leg of the leaping frog to a piece of scrap acetate with double sided tape and adhered him to the front grassy border with more double sided tape. Then I attached all my other images with glue, being careful not to get excess glue on the grassy areas. I glued down my “pond” by positioning it 1/4” from the inside crease of my card. Now I could see where to stamp my inside sentiment and this is best done before adding the triangle pop up. I used a sentiment from MFT’S Yay for You set. I glued together just the top portions of the grassy borders, to just about a quarter to a third of the way down. You need to leave the bottom of these borders unglued so they can form the triangle pop up. Then I removed the backing paper from the back grassy border, and lined it up along the crease on the inside of my card and pressed it down. Finally, I removed the backing paper on the front grassy border and folded my card base up and over the grassy borders and pressed it down. And that was the card done! This is such a fun card to receive because the inside is so unexpected, and those frogs definitely make it a masculine card - always a bonus!! I really hope you’ll give this one a try. Hope you have a great day!

Great but simple card by Kylie! Head over to global-design-project.com to play along with the Case the Designer challenge this week. I used the same set as Kylie did but changed the colors and added some leaves. The set is Special Reason and it includes the shape I used for the sentiment. I stamped the flowers in Night of Navy & Soft Sky with Cucumber Crush for the leaves. The sentiment is from the kit called Watercolor Wishes. I used the Stylish Stems dies to cut the shape for the sentiment and popped it up on the top. Thanks for stopping by and have a special day! I did a little casing from Kim Badelt over at kimsstampingspot.blogspot.com and you can see her card here. I changed some of the colors and background. I used a Evening Evergreen base and ran the white card stock through the Animal Print embossing folder. I then cut the stitched square white piece and stamped with So Saffron ink using the Watercolor Shapes square stamp. I stamped the tiger in Pumpkin Pie on white card stock from the Wild Cats set plus black stripes and face with Memento Tuxedo Black. I cut it with the matching dies called Big Cats dies. I also used these dies to cut the Evening Evergreen and Soft Succulent greenery. I stamped the plant in Evening Evergreen ink and cut with same dies. Finally, I stamped the sentiment in Evergreen ink on the square. Hope you have a awesome day and thanks for stopping by! Welcome to my Blog! Today I am so excited to share with you this Garden in Bloom card and a Hello Honey Hexagonal box Gift set. The Garden in Bloom stamp set along with the English Garden Designer Series Paper and the 5/8" Striped Cotton Ribbon make so many great projects by combining these products. One of the elements that cought my attention was the Bee on the stamp set and also on the papers super cute!. All these Stampin' Up products had everything I needed to wrap some honey bottles and honey dippers in such a cute way. This box was an inspiration from the Tall skinny Hexagonal Box by Pootles.Co.UK, you can watch her video HERE to get familiar with assembly procedures. However the box I made here is shorter and has a lid to close. The dimmensions of finished box are 4-1/2" tall by 3" wide. This is what you need: LID For the Lid cut a piece of card stock 9-3/4 X 3. Score on the long side at: 1-1/2, 3-1/8, 4-5/8, 6-1/8, 7-5/8, and 9-1/4. Score on short side at 2". snip all the tabs (2" sections) and remove the small 2 x 1/2 inch section as shown on picture above. Fold score lines add adhesive to 3 of the tabs, intertwining to form the top of lid. I used the 2-1/2 circle punch to cut a circle out of the English Garden Designer Series Paper and I attached it to top of lid, I also cut a piece of the 5/8" Striped Cotton Ribbon in Hello Honey color to embellish the lid. BOX For the Box cut a piece of card stock 9-1/2 X 6-1/2. Score on the long side at 1-1/2, 3, 4-1/2, 6, 7-1/2, and 9. Score on short side at 2". snip all the tabs (2" sections) and remove the 2 x 1/2 inch section as shown on picture above. Fold scored lines add adhesive to 3 of the tabs and follow the same procedure as you did for the lid to assemble the box. Decorate as desired. I hope you liked this project and find some inspiration to create some gifts of your own, to order any of these products please click HERE. Or the product table below. Thank you so much and Have a Wonderful Day! Built for Free Using: My Stampin Blog
