We made this unique old map of Jersey City, Hudson City & Hoboken in 1860 from H.F. Walling's much larger wall map entitled "Map of The City of New York and Its Environs". Walling's county maps are notable for showing the old roads and especially the names of homeowners next to a dot pinpointing the house (except in urban areas). On this custom excerpt map we also see railroad lines, old place names and some topography. Our reprint is made from the original scan from the David Rumsey map collection.
