Hey friends! I've got a couple of cute Guppies from Sweet November Stamps to share today. They came out during the MerMay clear release and it's taken me this long to get them posted here on the blog, which is a shame because I really adore the Guppy mermaids. They are pretty darn quick to color, which makes them great for when I don't have a whole lot of crafty time. The little sea floor scene that I've used on both card comes in the set too and it makes setting the scene a breeze. Really, the only stamp on this first card, not from the set, is the sentiment. I borrowed that from the older Mermaid Hair set because it was too perfect not to use with this cutie and all her curls. :) On this second card with little miss pigtails, I added the sand castle from the Seashells and Sunshine set to have a bit more going on in the background. I really like how it looks as if she has swam out of her home to wave hello, perhaps as we pass by in a submarine, LOL! Ok, that's all I've got for today. Thanks for stopping by! Hello there! We are jumping back to digital stamps celebrating MerMay with this week's super cute Guppy release at Sweet November Stamps. These cute little mermaids are small and simple to color, making them perfect for when you are short on crafty time. There are six Guppies joining the Sweet November family; Cora, Gilly, Marina, Betta, Baylee and Shellsea as well as their fancy Guppy Sandcastle background builder. My first card pairs Baylee and Shellsea playing in their Sandcastle. I blew up the castle nice and big so that it filled most of the card front. I then added Baylee in front of the window, copied the castle and cropped it to begin at the end of the tail so that when I layered the second castle over both it made it look like she is swimming through the window. I then added Shellsea sitting up top. After the scene was printed out I used some clear stamps to add more details, like the fish and seahorses from the Merwees #1 and Mermees #1 sets and the bubbles and sentiment from the Mermaid Hair set. Next I printed out Guppy Cora then masked her off before adding the dock, rock and seagull from the Dock on the Bay clear set. With that seagull in the picture I just had to color Cora to look like a certain little mermaid that we all know and love. The sentiment was borrowed from the Wee Lynn set. Finally, Guppies Gilly and Marina are playing a game of tag in the swift flowing currents that I colored in around them. Again, I added bubbles and the schools of fish from the Mermaid Hair clear set and the sentiment is from the Merwees #1 set. Now be sure to check out the Friends of Sweet November Stamps group on Facebook for even more Guppy cuteness from Caitlin, Faye and our newest full time addition to the Sweet November Gals... Amanda Garrett. We've also got two talented guest designers joining us this week; Miria Molinari and Margo Laeremans. Don't forget, I will be coloring Live today at 11am PST over on my Adventures in Coloring with Amy Facebook page and I hope to see ya there! You can also find us on Instagram @sweetnovemberstamps and don't forget to use the #sweetnovemberstamps any time you share a card or project using SN images so we can see all of your beautiful makes!

Hello again! I'm just jumping in real quick to share another card from the MerMay clear release at Sweet November Stamps. This one pairs a cute mermaid from The Guppies clear set with the darling octopus from the older Mermees #3 set. I went all girly-girl with these two, coloring them both in sugar sweet shades of pink. The sea floor stamp is part of The Guppies set and it makes for such a quick and easy background. I did add the little whelk as well as the sentiment from the Mermaid Hair set for the finishing touches to this scene. Just a reminder that you can get The Guppies 4x6 stamp set for free when you place an order of $100 or more at Sweet November for as long as supplies last. :) Laters! Olo! We introduced The Guppies digi stamps at Sweet November Stamps yesterday and these cute little mermaids are so quick and easy to color. There are six adorable Guppies; Cora, Gilly, Marina, Betta, Baylee and Shellsea as well as their fancy Guppy Sandcastle background builder. For my Live coloring video yesterday I printed out Guppy Betta with the Sandcastle back behind her in the distance. I then added the fish from the Make a Splash clear set and the sentiment that comes with Wee Beck to complete the scene. It all came together nicely during the Live, especially when we added the kelp forest all around. :) Well, thanks for stopping by today... enjoy the rest of your weekend!
