New without tag linen tea towel is signed Vera with her ladybug logo on the front. I would date it about the 1960-70’s. Vera Neumann (1907-1993) was a popular artist and designer in the 1960-80’s. Her designs are making a comeback 50 years later. Vera used bold colors and design on this unique kitchen towel. Great one to display. Background is deep blue color, and the design features turquoise flowerpots with growing herbs. They are identified below each pot. The plants nicely detailed in browns, yellow gold and green. Designs are repeated on each half of the towel. They include sage, chives, oregano, parsley, mint, basil and dill. I especially love the hanging chili ristras in turquoise blue. Condition is very good with storage fold lines and a small organic spot. Please see last photos and feel free to ask questions. Check out my other Vera linens. USPS ground advantage shipping has insurance and tracking.
