Conques is a UNESCO World heritage Site and on the list of the "Most beautiful villages in France". It is only 30km east of Figeac but quite different in terms of building materials and architectural style. Its location on the edge of the Dourdou gorge is stunning. The village retains parts of the old town wall and gates. The narrow cobbled streets are lined by well preserved houses. The main attraction is the 10th century Abbaye Sainte Foy, which made it an important stopping point on the pilgrims route to Santiago di Compostello.
Budapest: Bastión de los pescadores El Halászbástya o Bastión de los Pescadores es una terraza de estilo neogótico y neorrománico situada en la orilla de Buda del Danubio, en la colina del castillo real de Budapest, Hungría, cerca de la Iglesia de San Matías (Budapest). Se diseñó y construyó entre 1895 y 1902 según los planos de Frigyes Schulek. Las siete torres representan las siete tribus magiares que se establecieron en la cuenca carpatiana en el año 896. Recibe el nombre del grupo de pescadores responsable de defender este enclave de las murallas de la ciudad en la Edad Media. Se trata de un mirador con numerosas escaleras y paseos. Entre el Bastión y la Iglesia de San Matías (Budapest) se alza una estatua de bronce de Esteban I de Hungría a caballo, erigida en 1906. El pedestal fue construido por Alajos Stróbl, basándose en el proyecto de Frigyes Schulek en estilo neorrománico y con episodios que ilustran la vida del rey.
