I decided to showcase this post for you because RedFarm is an amazing experience! There have been so many of my favorite places that have closed in the city due to the pandemic, I need to discover new places. RedFarm, however did not leave, thank goodness, as their food is just mind-blowing. This is their Upper West Side location while staying in the area on a weekend trip. It is a must try if you like this type of food. The decor is very laid back This was just AMAZING - REDFARM PASTRAMI EGG ROLL I can't even explain this to you but it can be shipped to your home via Goldbelly PACMAN DUMPLINGS are next to the egg roll almost too adorable to eat They were so amazing - melt in your mouth kind of dumpling PORK & CRAB SOUP DUMPLINGS I had wanted to try a soup dumpling for a LONG time and well, it was pretty amazing I only managed to eat 2 of them, just a wonderful experience if you can try it This is a must stop place if you enjoy Chinese food, the flavors will just blow your mind! The Upper West Side has many wonderful restaurants, some that have been around for over 50 years. There is a reason why a place would be in business for so long, especially in a city like New York, where places open and close daily. If you should venture to this wonderful area, and get away from Times Square (not a favorite of mine), here are the foods you need to sample. In no particular order because that would be terribly hard: 1. Levain Bakery - The cookies, you MUST try the cookies They are life changing. 2. Zabar's - Matzo ball soup OR/AND bagel with lox and cream cheese 3. Jacques Torres - Wicked hot chocolate AND chocolate covered cheerios 4. Nice Matin - Short rib ravioli 5. Parm - Perfect meatball parm sandwich 6. Red Farm - Best Chinese food, shrimp dumplings that look like pac-man 7. Epicerie Boulud - Best snack food experience 8. Maison Pickle - French dips 9.
