Hello again, I was going to make a masculine card using the Legendary Ride Bundle (#160763), however there are many ladies who are bike riders so I guess this is for anyone who love their bikes. The bike was cut with the Legendary Ride Dies (#160762) using Basic Black card (#121688), Silver Foil Specialty (#156457) and Pumpkin Pie card (#108601). I had Adhesive Sheet (#152334) on the back of the Silver Foil & Pumpkin Pie card making it easy to attach these smaller pieces. The scene is from the Ready To Ride 12”x12” Specialty Designer Series Paper (#160752) and matted with Pumpkin Pie card. The “maps” image is from the Vellum 12x12” Layering Designs (#157764). I attached this to the same size Basic White card (#159228), then matted it with Pumpkin Pie card and attached this to the Basic White base card. The sentiment from the Legendary Ride stamp set (#160754) was stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento ink (#132707) and cut with a Stitched Rectangles die (#151820). The bike and sentiment were attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). TIP: When applying adhesive to vellum always avoid areas that can be seen as you will be able to see the adhesive through the vellum. “Love what you do and share what you love.” INSPIRE. CREATE. It's time for a new Just Add Ink challenge & Jan has set us a well timed challenge to create a card for males, since it's Father's Day on September 6th in Australia. I ran a masculine card class last weekend too so I combined the challenge with my class card. I do love a man in a suit (whether it's my own darling man, James Bond, or maybe even a dressed up Mr Cumberbatch or the guys from Suits), so I created this formal / tuxedo type suit card. It was very popular with my class lovelies so hope you like it too. My card was adapted from this awesome card & tutorial by Sarah Jane Rae, which I pinned a while ago. I adapted her idea to make a smaller card using a standard half A4 sheet to fit a regular C6 envelope (the card front is 10 x 14.8cm or approx 4 x 6 inches). Sarah's card front was about double this size. I used the envelope punch board to make my bow tie). I used some White Perfect Accent dots for the shirt buttons. I also added a belly band around the front to add a bit more detail & space for a sentiment - birthday & Father's Day versions. The birthday sentiment is from Birthday Blossoms & I also used White Perfect Accents dots coloured with a black sharpie marker - easy! You can see the other sentiment in this pic: I really liked how Sarah attached the shirt front to one side of the jacket so I did this too. This larger picture shows more detail. The card opens up to show a large space for your message. I stamped the birthday version with the fantastic sentiment from Happy Birthday Everyone, a must-have stampin' rewards only stamp set from the annual catalogue. The ' to a wonderful man' sentiment is from this set too. I was hoping to share my instructions to make my card in this post but it's taken much longer to prepare than I expected, so I'll post them separately - hopefully sometime tomorrow - & edit this post to include the instructions link too. Edited 21 August, 2pm Re-edited 23 August 7pm SUIT CARD TEMPLATES & BOW TIE TUTORIAL IS HERE! Please refer to Sarah Jane's suit card tutorial for instructions to make a large suit card. Use the measurements in my templates to reduce size to my standard size card version (14.8 x 10cm or 6 x 4 inch front) with an envelope punch board bow tie. If you have questions or need more info about making my smaller version, please leave me a comment including your e-mail addy & I'll be happy to help. VIEW & DOWNLOAD MY SUIT-TUXEDO TEMPLATES & BOW TIE TUTORIAL PDF. Note: please choose the download option (arrow & line) to download. Do not choose 'share' as this just sends me an e-mail. Here are pics from the tute so you can see what's included, but don't save them as they're just small versions of the actual doc. Thanks for visiting & I hope you like my card. Please check out all the Just Add Ink fab team's creations here & try the challenge too - you can never have too many masculine card ideas. Please leave some comment love & pin the card if you like my card. Here's a combined pinnable image if you do. Back soon! Card making gets very nautical with the Stampin' Up Sailing Home set. This card example features two different color schemes using different patterned paper and features the double-z fun fold.
Look at these cute T Shirts!! They have been made using the Custom Tee Bundle, which is available in the Stamin' Up! 2017 Occasions Catalogue. The really awesome bonus about this Bundle, is it has a coordinating stamp set available as a free item from the Sale-a-bration promotion. For every $90 AUD spent during the promo, you choose a free item from the promo catalogue, BUT only till the end of March. Visit my store for details. I haven't had a real decent play with this bundle yet but did manage to whip a few cards up as I wanted to see how the little tees looked using stamps from other sets. I used the Hedgehog and Ladybugs from the Love You Lots Hostess Stamp Set and the Cat and Parrot are from the Pretty Kitty and Bella & Friends stamp sets. I stamped Black Archival ink onto Shimmery white card stock and used aqua painters to colour the animals, then let it dry before colouring the tee shirt backgrounds. Adhered with dimensionals the little tees pop right off the card. I used to work in the retail clothing industry and making these little cuties reminded me of how many tees the staff and I would fold everyday. As you can see the options are limitless! And not one of these tees use the stamps from the bundle. I have yet to try those ones out. This card uses some DSP from the Sale-a-bration promotion, its called Carried Away and coordinates perfectly with the Up & Away bundle. But thought I would use a smidgen for this card as it required some Peakaboo Peach to match the colour of the ink used to water colour the T Shirt. The little cupcake is from Bella & Friends. The black and white DSP is from the Playful Palette Paper Stack, and I added some black and white Bakers Twine to match. Using some more of the Carried Away DSP, I layered a quarter of the card front with Mint Macaron and adhered some pink Bakers Twine. The T Shirts have been stamped with the Hedgehog from Love you Lots stamp set and the Cat from Pretty Kitty. I used the Owl Punch to make the little hearts and the cloud die from Up & Away. This card was made in a couple of minutes as I was using up scraps and die cuts I had sitting around. The flowers are from the Botanicals Builder Framelits, I also used the Layering Circles Framelits and DSP from the Cupcakes & Carousels DSP Paper Stack. The T Shirt was stamped in Black Archival using the Ladybugs from the Love You Lots Hostess stamp set and coloured in using an aqua painter and Daffodil Delight and Real Red inks. Happy Crafting x

For my nephew who is turning 21, I wanted to use the 'Bubble Over' set to create a pack of beer. I found this photo (right) on Pinterest. No name was attached to it, but it was perfect for what I needed! So THANK YOU whoever you are! Now, I do not own the wooden crate dies, so I created a crate with the 'Wood Textures' DSP. Pretty simple... just 3 horizontal and 2 vertical strips of paper. The color of the beer was a little harder to achieve. I used Crushed Curry... and the full strength was too dark (I guess it could've represented dark beer, but I was going for the shade that was on the right). I decided to see if I stamped off excess ink on a scrap piece of paper before stamping on Whisper White would work. It did! So, I only inked the bottle not quite close to the top of each bottle -- thus making it look like liquid in the bottles! As you can see, with the bottle that is tilted a bit... I stamped the ink on at an angle too! Attention to detail for sure on this card! HA! Thanks for stopping by to take a closer look! Supplies Used: Stamp Set - Bubble Over Ink - Crushed Curry, Memento Paper - Crushed Curry, Basic Black, Whisper White, Wood Textures DSP, Silver Foil Accessories - Die Cut/Emboss Machine, Bottle and Bubbles Dies, Basic Black Twine
