Sailing the oceans, the waves, the wind, the girls and of course, the tattoos! I have printed the sailor on a piece of vintage sea chart that features the English Channel All my linocuts are handprinted by me, the artist, and I sign, title and number each print. This print is numbered as a monoprint, as each chart is different, you receive this very print. The charts I use are all well used, I think that adds to the print, thinking that people have used them to navigate, so there is wear and tear. I do print more of this Sailor. The linocut itself measures 16" x 22", (41cm x 56cm ) and the beautiful piece of map measures approx 20" x 27", (50cm x 70cm) Linocuts are wonderful graphic pieces of printmaking, that can make for a real focal point in your room, you are so welcome to ask me about framing advice etc. I'll mail your linocut to you protected by tissuepaper and cellophane, it comes with a flier explaining what a linocut is.
