The perfect custom zodiac quilt if you want as many details as possible! If this is a gift for a new baby, have their name displayed in a cute starry font! You can add the birthdate, their name, the name of their birthstone or a nickname to either the top, bottom or both. The quilt will be 48in square and since I will be using my fabric scraps the colors will be close to the mockup, but not an exact match. Every zodiac quilt will be one-of-a-kind and quilted with a pantograph of the sun sign chosen. I also have pillows of every birthstone and zodiac sign, so be sure to check those out!

This is a very simple pantograph made with a series of dashes and dots! Or does it look like bubble wrap, donuts...? :) When you have a quilt top that is complex or busy, sometimes you just need simple quilting to "stay out of the way" and add great texture. There's a bit of double stitching to ensure the fluidity of the design stitching L to R or R to L. Slow your stitching as necessary to minimize the look of any double-stitched lines.
