- THIS IS A PDF PATTERN, NOT A PHYSICAL PRODUCT - The Cottagecore Scarf pattern consists of 14 crochet square designs that you can use for whatever project you want! I made a scarf using 9 squares, but you could also use the squares for a blanket, pillow, wall decoration, or even a cardigan or sweater vest. It is beginner friendly because the stitches are not complicated, however the squares do have a lot of color changes so therefore they may not be perfect for a complete beginner. SKILL LEVEL: beginner/intermediate GAUGE a square of 26 stitches by 22 rows in half double crochet is 20 x 20 cm (approximately 8 x 8 inch). You could of course make the squares with a smaller crochet hook and thinner yarn, then the squares will turn out smaller and you may need to make more squares for the project you want. SUGGESTED MATERIALS - 5mm crochet hook - Aran worsted weight yarn or any thicker type of yarn in all the colors you want to use. I used Zeeman Julia yarn, which is available in several European countries. But any type of yarn that meets the gauge you want would work. - This project is perfect for using scrap yarn and yarn leftovers from previous projects - Tapestry needle for weaving in ends TECHNIQUES USED IN THIS PATTERN - half double crochet - tapestry crochet - changing colors - slip stitch If you have any questions regarding the pattern, do not hesitate to send me a message, @lisasknitclub on instagram <3 - THIS IS A PDF PATTERN, NOT A PHYSICAL PRODUCT -

You could make this bread, and no other, for the rest of your baking career, and never feel cheated. It uses the sponge, or poolish, method: sort of a poor man's or woman's sourdough starter — no feedings, little pre-planning, lots of flexibility, and superb bread. If you've always wanted crusty, hole-ridden, French-style bread, this is it.
