As guerras mundiais, a conquista do espaço e os desastres nucleares foram alguns dos acontecimentos que marcaram a história humana recente. Estas são fotos pouco conhecidas desses momentos.
On this day, Mt Cook was obscured by valley cloud until about the last 5 or 6 minutes of light. I almost blew this shot as I was busy chatting to some nice Aussie guys (oxymoronic statement I know). The blowing snow makes the shot for me. Most of these flickr shots are BIGGER on our website. You can also view more of our New Zealand landscape photography there :) My gradual decline towards senility is also charted on my blog - The Photo Autocracy And finally, we have also just posted our latest FREE New Zealand landscape photography guide for Mt Cook / Lake Pukaki Cheers - Todd & Sarah
Want to make super easy DIY wall art? Here's how to make your own DIY art - including how to frame canvas art.
Elevate your space with the captivating beauty of this golden hour Mt. Tamalpais sunset print. Featuring the radiant glow of the setting sun casting a warm light over the golden hills of Marin County, California, this wall art brings the serene magic of nature's spectacle to your home. Print Options • METAL PRINTS are uniquely durable with vibrant colors and exceptional detail, created by infusing dyes directly into specially coated aluminum sheets. -Because the image is infused into the surface and not on it, your images will take on an almost magical luminescence. -Prints have a brilliant high gloss surface that show every detail. -The ultra-hard scratch-resistant surface is waterproof/weatherproof and can be cleaned easily – just avoid direct sunlight. -Includes rounded corners and a glossy finish on a white base which allows the colors to really pop! -All metal prints come ready to hang with float mount hangers attached to the back of the print, which float the print 1/2 inch off the wall. • CANVAS PRINTS are printed directly onto museum-quality canvas material using high-quality archival inks. -The canvas is stretched around a wooden frame and stapled on the edges, leaving the full image visible on the front. -The depth of each canvas print is 1 and 1/2 inches. Each print has mirrored edges, which are crafted by wrapping the closest part of the image over the sides, giving the canvas edges a reflection-like appearance. -Each canvas print comes with a wire hanger and bumpers for easy hanging. CROPPING Please note that some print sizes may require cropping but the impact of each image will remain the same. From classic masterpieces to contemporary tours de force
The earliest known example of cloisonné can be found on King Tutankhamen's crown, dating back approximately 2,500 years. This intricate art form was introduced to Japan from China and Korea around 600 B.C. A notable example can be seen on the metal door at Houo-do in Byodo-in, Uji, Kyoto. Cloisonné art flourished in Japan during the 16th century, and in the 19th century, a German chemist named Wagner developed a glaze specifically for Japanese cloisonné, which significantly contributed to the evolution of Japanese cloisonné as we know it today. The Japanese word for cloisonné, "Shippo," translates to "seven treasures," symbolizing the beauty of the art form that captures the essence of gold, silver, lapis lazuli, coral, pearl, agate, and squilla. This plate depicts cranes, Mt. Fuji, and red and white plum blossoms, all of which are the auspicious motifs meaning happiness, longevity, and prosperity. Care Instructions for Shippo Crafts: -Due to the vitreous nature of Shippo products, the surface may be damaged by impact. If damaged, discontinue use to avoid injury. -Do not expose Shippo items to direct heat, pour boiling water into them, or use them in a microwave oven. -Do not use Shippo items such as pen trays, ornament plates, vases, or other interior goods as serving dishes. -Clean Shippo crafts with a soft sponge and synthetic detergent. Avoid using steel wool, abrasive cleansers, or dishwashers to preserve their quality. 【Specification】 ・Material/ Plate:Coisonne, Pure Copper, Silver , Stand:Plastic , Box:Wood ・Size/ Plate:W23.5×H23.5×D2cm , Stand:W19×H21.5×D13cm , Box:W27×H27×D5cm ・Weight/ 1020 g ・Made in Japan Product Type: HOME DÉCORCollection: ORNAMENT > ORNAMENTAL PLATECollection: CLOISONNE
