Are mythical creatures in the Bible and if so are they real? There are many passages regarding a few recognizably named mythical creatures. The Dragon is the most common, but are there others?
May 31, 2013 Somewhere in my imagination, I walk across windswept moors, my long flowing hair sweeping behind me. I’m dressed in something graceful and fluid, and it’s all very dramatic and romantic… And for a long time, I would occasionally buy something for this life.. Reality check? I wouldn’t walk […]
Sudden reversal of fortune is one of the major themes in the film. While Temple pities her pitiable character, she says she’s also is proud of her.

I often look to my favorite TV characters for wardrobe inspiration. Sex and the City was eye candy I just couldn’t get enough of. And while SATC was certainly a trailblazer in terms of making the clothes a character unto themselves, they weren’t exactly realistic options for us plebes. Since then, there have been so may nstrong female TV characters that KILL it in the professional wardrobe department, and I look to them for inspiration when I get dressed for the office. Let’s have a little fun today while I share my go-to TV icons with the most amazing professional wardrobes out there!Schedule

Even for those of us who like to dress up everyday, Halloween is the prime time to go all out! Us vintage gals have an instant leg up, as so many great costumes can be created easily from classic basics bound to already live in our closets. Whether you don't have the time or funds for a new costume this year, or are just ready to get frugally creative, here are a few costumes you may be able to create from what you've already got! Getting Audrey's classic look from the great film Funny Face is the easiest of all! Just don black slim cropped pants, a black long sleeved turtleneck, and black flat shoes! Add the white socks and a ponytail to complete the simple but undoubtedly chic look. For another classic Audrey Hepburn costume look to another of her films, Breakfast at Tiffany's. Grab your little black dress and add long black gloves and large sunglasses. Pile on some layered pearls clasped with a large crystal brooch, and clip another brooch in your bouffant. Long cigarette holder and yummy croissant are optional :) If you are feeling something a little more flapper in nature, make like every vintage gal's favorite lady detective and slip into any 1920's ensemble. Just add a black bobbed wig for that distinctively Phryne Fisher style, and paint your prop revolver gold for the finishing touch. If you are feeling a bit more rockabilly this Halloween nothing is simpler than sexy Sandy from Grease. With tight black pants, an off the shoulder top, and red mule heels--presto! Your the one that they want, whoever they are! Add a curly blonde wig for the full effect. If you'd prefer something a little more prim, or perhaps will be celebrating somewhere where the temperatures have already dropped, Mary Poppins may be just the ticket! A black coat paired with a blue midi skirt and loose knit scarf capture the look. Add a jaunty black hat with flowers, an umbrella of course, and if you can get your hands on one--a big carpet bag full of candy! (What was that about sugar again?) Our last costume for today takes us to warmer climates. For my fellow lady adventures, why not channel one of the best style muses in the genre, Evelyn Carnahan from The Mummy! A long camel skirt and a striped button down form the base of the ensemble, add brown heels, a thin black scarf/tie, and round glasses for the full look. Try not to play dominoes with the furniture! If you still haven't an idea of who/what to be this Halloween, never fret, I have a second set of ideas for you all coming up next week!
