No additional skills are needed for this method (called COWYAK). Several rounds are worked with the waste yarn and then the main color is joined. The stranded yoke is worked and the neckline is finished. A lifeline is inserted, the waste yarn is removed, revealing live stitches, and then the body and sleeves are worked from the provisional cast on edge.
