Welcome back for another 52 Card Pick Up Session! Cards 13 to 24 are meant to combine doodling with mixed media techniques which opens new ways on creating you otherwise would not have thought of. I found it hard at the beginning (having to tear my doodled cards to halves) but creative thoughts soon developed their own direction and pace and I let them take me with them. I also feel the need to express how happy and proud I am that my cards were able to inspire and lure some other folk like Brenda Brown for example into signing in for the 52 Card Pick Up too! It seems she even likes my style of displaying them so much that she has adapted it for the cards on her blog too. I think inspiring and getting others to seek for new styles and creative paths is the biggest laud you can get honestly. So thank you! This time I start with showing you my doodled cards first so you can see where I have used parts of them on the cards number 13 to 16 afterwards and how I tried to incorporate them into the design. Two of them haven't been used yet and I am not sure if I will. I think I'd rather do some new ones...now that I worked my way towards making them blend into the cards design. #13 I am afraid on card number 13 I painted all over my doodled word because I had used too many various colours so it just did not fit in. #14 #15 #16 Numbers 15 and 16 are my favourites because the doodles worked quite well with the 52 Card Pick Up design...but still make them more personal. Hope you like some of them too ;) Hugs and happy crafting, Claudia x
Hi friends! Thanks for stopping by today for the Topflight Stamps 7th birthday. To celebrate, I’ve teamed up with some great designers to showcase celebratory projects using the unique products available at Topflight Stamps. Please hop along with us and see all the beautiful talent from this group of amazing designers! There is a master list of Hop stops on the Topflight Stamps blog! We are also Hopping on Instagram! You can start at the Topflight Stamps account @topflightstamps. Did we mention there will be prizes?! I've created a series of artsy mixed media cards using Gel Press printed backgrounds and fabulous stamps by PaperArtsy. I fell in love with these moody prints I made using a combination of Fresco Chalk Acrylics in Sargasso, Bougainvillea, and Slimed. I didn't use any stencils for these backgrounds, just vivid color. I was able to get color variation on the plate by using my 2" Speedball Brayer and adding color in small sections to cover the gel plate. The focal stamp set is by Jofy, set JOFY112, an absolute joy to work with! I stamped in black Versafine onto my prints, then again onto Bristol and colored with my Prism brush markers. I fussy cut the leaves only and used foam tape to add them for dimension. For my backgrounds I did some white embossing with the Jofy branch and a fun mini stamp by Tracy Scott, EM61. I also used mini stamp EM58 in black to resemble washi tape. I sewed around each of my panels and finished with some paint pen scripty doodles and sticker sentiments. I just love how these cards turned out and hope they inspire you today! GIVEAWAY DETAILS: Of course, it wouldn’t be a birthday celebration without prizes! Topflight Stamps is giving four lucky winners $50 Gift Certificates to the store. Two winners will be chosen from commenters on the blog hop and two will be chosen from commenters on the IG hop. For a chance to win, make sure to visit the stops on the hop and leave a comment by April 1st. Winners will be announced on the Topflight Stamps blog on Monday, April 3rd. (U.S.A winners only due to shipping issues.) Good luck my friends! Meanwhile, check out the fabulous birthday sale and have an awesome spring! xx, Autumn

Hi Thanks for stopping by. Hope you've been keeping well. I've updated my teaching page and I wanted to let you know about a worksho...
Eclectica³ : Tracy Scott Tracy has been storming ahead over the past couple of years sharing her bright and bold journalling style across the UK, and beyond. She is rapidly building up a strong following of mixed media crafters who feel encouraged and emboldened to create by digging deep within to doodle, stamp and paint without fear. Tracy's stamps are perfect for layering onto pages, canvases of even the standard number 8 tag! ETS09 (Eclectica³ Tracy Scott: Set 09} ETS10 (Eclectica³ Tracy Scott: Set 10} ETS11 (Eclectica³ Tracy Scott: Set 11} Over the next 3 nights we have Tracy and 2 more of our talented bloggers are presenting these fabulous new products to you in totally different ways. All these new products are available from your PaperArtsy stockists now. See the list at the foot of this post. ~ Leandra Hi everyone, Tracy here with you tonight and I'm super excited to be able to show you my newest stamps designed for PaperArtsy. Primarily I am an Art Journaller and usually when thinking about designing stamps I like to look back through my journal pages and see the kind of doodles, marks and images I am currently using in my projects. Very often, it becomes quickly apparent which doodles are being repeated continuously, and that gives me the starting point for creating my new stamps. This release is no different and all of the designs have come directly from ideas that are current in my journals, and whilst I am using them in my journals, I feel that they are equally adaptable for all kinds of craft projects and applications. I'm so excited about this release and tonight I wanted to give you a sense of what I might get up to with these stamps, but over the next 2 nights, you'll get plenty more inspiration from 2 other fantastic bloggers in their preferred style (I cant wait to see what they come up with too !!) 'Creativity' using 'ETS10' by 'Tracy Scott' I'm sure that you already know that I am in love with doodled flowers and I really love large statement stamps so that was my starting point for this set, and I have to say the main focal stamp just makes my heart sing.... I stamped and coloured this image onto to a separate sheet so that it could be added to my journal page once the background was finished and used the additional smaller stamps in the set to add detail to a simple collage and painted background. Fast and effective and what a bold statement on my page. I'd love to try adding this stamp to a card and maybe go for a layered 3D effect, or maybe ever cut out the centre focal flower and use this on its own, i really think the possibilities are just endless with this bold design !!. 'Too Much Happy' using 'ETS09' by 'Tracy Scott' I just love that this stamp set has all the makings of a fabulous journalling set but is also perfect for adding amazing accents to cards and scrapbook pages. There isn't one stamp in this set that i think doesn't have dual uses and that makes me happy happy happy !!! Beautiful bright fresco paints and I used the various stamps in this set to create my background before stamping and adding the focal point doodle flower on raised foam for a 3D look. Just so you can see how versatile this approach can be...I went onto create other items in the same vein... Large images can still work on small formats, like this ATC. You can see how I have added a doodled edge to the entire piece and the words. Layering one stamped shape onto another creates an easy flower centre, and great contrast too. Here the same ideas are applied to a larger journal page...I love the pop of gold embossing too, texture and contrast! 'And So The Adventure Begins' using 'ETS11' by 'Tracy Scott' I just adore butterflies and very often include them in my art pages and mixed media projects so just knew that for this release I had to have a butterfly in there somewhere and am thrilled with how this one turned out !! I just knew that this butterfly would be able to be used in so many different ways: cards, scrapbooks, journal pages, watercolour art, zentangle pages the list just goes on and on.. Here I chose to use it by stamping directly onto a book page and adding distress ink. I think it looks amazing against the bright zingy colours of the background !! 'Dream, Explore, Create' using 'ETS09' by 'Tracy Scott' Heading into a slightly more grungy direction on this sample, but still incorporating leftovers from my earlier pieces. Close up you can see the textures and the multiple layers Thank you for stopping by tonight and I hope I've given you plenty of ideas for using my new designs although I am sure that you can come up with plenty more amazing ideas of your own. I cant wait to see what you create and you can always feel free to tag me in any of your art work using my stamps as i would truly love to see them. Don't forget to stop by for the next two evenings where two very talented ladies will be sharing their ideas for using the new designs and believe me you don't want to miss them! Last weekend I got the chance to go up to Right at Home Scrapbooking in MA to spend a day taking classes from Joanne Sharpe. I had gotten to take a class from her a few months ago up at Absolutely Everything - I took Decorative Doodling, but the rest of her classes had already sold out by the time I found out about it. So when I saw that the classes I'd wanted to take and missed were being offered, I jumped at the chance to go! First class of the day - Watercolor Whimsy. We played with watercolors...
