Hello & welcome, The stamps and dies here (except for the die for the sentiment) are all from the Darling Details Bundle (#161371) which includes the Darling Details stamp set (#161368) and the Darling Details Dies (#161370). I stamped the flower and the sentiment with Orchid Oasis ink (#159214). This is a 2 step stamp so I stamped the outline, then I stamped off for the inside colour, using Orchis Oasis for both. For the die cut detailed flower I used the Soft Shimmer Paper Combo Pack (#161750) and Silver Foil (#156457) for the leaves. Both of these paper were backed with Adhesive Sheet (#152334). The 2 layers of Basic White card (#159228) were cut with the Darling Details Dies and attached to the Basic White base card. The sentiment was cut with a Nested Essentials die (#161597). The flower & sentiment were attached to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals (#104430). The Designer Series Paper special continues till the end of the month - Bright & Beautiful (#161449) - $18.48 Countryside Inn (#161467) - $18.48 Delightfully Eclectic (#161640) - $45.05 Earthen Elegance (#161503) - $18.48 Fresh As A Daisy (#161289) - $18.48 Glorious Gingham (#163170) - #15.75 Hello Irresistable (#161139) - $18.48 Inked Botanicals (#161157) - $18.48 Let’s Go Fishing (#161534) - 18.48 Les Shoppes (#161322) - $18.48 Stargazing (#161175) - $18.48 Zoo Crew (#161304) - $18.48 “Love what you do and share what you love.” INSPIRE. Happy New Year to all my friends in blog world. As 2013 begins, I trust it brings all the good things with it and that you will know much blessing for the year ahead. What a wonderful time we have had over the holiday period and we certainly can't complain about the weather, other than maybe it has been a little warm some days!! We are planning on having a few days away next week, that's as long as I stop feeling woozy. I am having a bit of middle ear problem, the result being, difficulty with my balance. Here's hoping for an improvement! As January's Kaisercraft Workshop magazine is now out, I am able to show the cards I have done with their new collections - it's hard keeping things under wraps, you know!! The first of them is the Marigold collection which I know you will agree, is lovely. Aren't the colours gorgeous? Those designers at Kaisercraft really do seem to be getting better and better! The workshop Magazines are free, so do ask for one when visiting Artfull Crafts. They have lots of fabulous ideas, not only cards, for you to try. Well, that's all from me today - just can't show them all at once! On another note, I have a little bit of exciting news to share but you will have to watch this space next week!! Can't say any more at the moment - sorry! Very happy crafting to you all, until next time, Many blessings, Betsy xxx
After feeling a bit deflated following using embossing powders last week I thought I would try again today. I have used white embossing powder this time for the outline of the Clearly Besotted Stamps image and coloured on the kraft with Copic markers. This card is winging it's way to a truly lovely, kind person. SUPPLIES USED: COPIC MARKERS: E41, E42, E43, E44, BG10, BG11, BG15. Thank you so much for visiting me today and thank you for the comments I recieved from my 'win some, lose some' post. they were really appreciated and I have taken all your suggestions on board.
I’m so happy with how this card turned out. I used the Art Gallery Bundle and the Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder. My inspiration came from a picture in the catalog.
It's the last Wednesday of the month, and that means it's time for your favorite challenge at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge: Anything Goes!! The design team are all using products from Memory Box, and we'd love to see you using them, too, but it's not a necessity in order to play. I love their dies, and made 2 cards today using 2 of them. These sweet little flowers are called Bella Bouquet, and I decided to make them into some little forget-me-nots and used some blues from my personal stash, along with Apple Green stems. After piecing the flowers to the stems, I glued the bouquet to a white panel, added some pale blue Hero Arts pearls, and framed it up with a pale blue cardstock, edging the right side with a scallop punch. My sentiment is from Simon's Handwritten Sentiments and I added a dyed seam binding bow, secured with a pearl brad. And for my second card, I had a play with this Memory Box Gorgeous Gardenia die and used papers from Graphic 45's Secret Garden collection. My sentiment is from an Impression Obsession set called In a Garden, and I added some sequins to the design. Now it's your turn! The random winner of this week's challenge will win a $50.00 gift voucher to the fantastic Simon Says Stamp Store!! I'm looking forward to seeing what you all create this week!
Happy Tuesday Peeps!! Today I am sharing a card made using the sketch challenge this week on the Stamping 411 Blog. I love the papers and colors in the Stampin Up Attic Boutique DSP pack. You can make something shabby chic, bright and cheery or soft and sweet like my card today. I started with a base of confetti white and then followed that with some pool party and then the DSP. The pretty yellow piece is from the same pack. I used the confetti white to make the doily, love that doily die, even tho you have to work it a bit to get out all the little pieces, it is soooo worth it in my opinion. The sentiment on here comes from Friendly Words wheel. I had cut it apart a while back and this is just one of the sentiments I got from the wheel. I stamped and colored the flowers from the Bordering on Romance stamp set. I then cut it out and mounted above the sentiment circle piece. I added some daffodil delight ribbon and some basic pearls to finish it off. Well, that is it from me today, thanks for stopping by and HAPPY STAMPING!!! Vicki

I really enjoyed colouring the Abigail Rose Designer Series Paper, for the card I shared yesterday. From the same sheet of paper, I cut an edge piece (and fussy-cut around the floral design), and coloured it, to create another card. This is what I came up with, using the same colourways, but different elements and composition: Onto my Crumb Cake card base, I added a Very Vanilla card layer that I had embossed using the Gingham embossing folder. I then adhered the coloured floral piece, just in from the edges of the Very Vanilla panel. I added Champagne Rhinestones to a few of the flower centres, and in a couple of places on the Gingham embossed background. Using my Stamparatus, I stamped the sentiment in Soft Suede ink (stamped twice, to achieve good depth of colour) on a scrap of Petal Pink card. After cutting it out with a Sending Die, I raised it up on Mini Stampin' Dimensionals. The bow was created with Petal Pink Polyester Ribbon. It's beautiful, but as you can see doesn't match the orangey tones of the Petal Pink ink and card. I think it is a good complement to the small pink flowers, coloured with Light Natural Tones Stampin' Blends. Listed below are all the products I used to make this card. Hello, crafty people!!! Hope this week and this Thursday are treating you well! I'm delighted to share the new FUSION challenge with you today... What do ya think about THAT??? This time I stuck with the photo inspiration...the floral theme of it...and the striking black/cream combo against the neutral background... ...using a REALLY old floral stamp image and my not-so-old Simon Says 'YOU are loved'. And then that resin flower...kinda weird...but I really liked it... ...so I kept it!;) And I know, I know...no yellow...but there was just no where for the yellow to go. Hope my super creamy, almost golden, flower and the touch of gold glitter counts...it's all I've got!;) I will say...EVERY OTHER DT member did a wonderful job of incorporating the gold/yellow...there are some BEAUTIFUL cards to inspire you at the blog...I mean REALLY nice ones...DO NOT miss 'em! OK, so git on over there, (the FUSION blog) and check out all the details, and the amazing inspiration, and then let's see what you've got!!! And don't forget this... Precious Remembrance Birthday Blog Hop and Give Away ...and that Festive Friday starts back up THIS WEEK! YAY!!! ( I've already seen glimpses of beauty there, too! It's gonna be a great year!)
