One holiday card finished! Only 999 more to go! No I don't really make that many but I am notorious for starting my holiday cards way too late so it seems like I have a zillion to make all at once! I found a sweet sheet of DSP in my retired holiday stash and used it as a backdrop for the cardinals from the new holiday set Wintery Trees. And while I was crafting my daughter took Emma and her friends to the new Minions movie to escape the afternoon heat! I love how they dressed up like minions and made my daughter dress like Gru - whoever that is! Karren designed a wonderful sketch for us this week at Freshly Made Sketches! Hope you join us! Stamps: Wintery Tree Tops (SU!), Holiday Silhouettes (Gina K) Ink: Memento Black, Copics Paper: Blueberry Bushel, A Walk in the Forest DSP

Planted Paradise is a new stamp set in the Jan - April 2024 Mini Catalogue. This set is photopolymer AND reversible. I created the above card in my "Card and a Cuppa" Facebook Live. I used the catalogue for inspiration and this is what my card ended up like. Link here to my Facebook live video: https://youtu.be/SE0HERQJsxQ
Jungle Pals and the Jungle Pals dies are FREE-with-purchase Sale-a-Bration products. And they are so much fun! There are 15 dies to coordinate with the stamps, and they can create a great "jungle" scene! the tree, the vine and all the leaves are extra dies within the set, along with ones to cut the animals. And those animals are just SO cute! But look at the alphabet letters - talk about fun! I mean FUN! The Mini Alphabet dies cuts the entire alphabet (and then some) in one pass. So you can have lots of letters (I store my extras in a tackle box) for all your projects, including scrapbooking! This 5-1/2" x 5-1/2" card is chock full of cuteness - just perfect to celebrate the birth of a new baby! Jungle Pals stamps (FREE with $50 purchase) and Jungle Pals dies (FREE with $100 purchase) will be a hot ticket item. I expect the dies to sell out quickly. So if you love these little creatures as much as I do, don't delay - grab your Jungle Pals now! Contributors to this blog hop are all members of Claire Daly's Art With Heart group. Every Wednesday night at 8p.m AEST we feature a fabulous Stampin' Up! colour, in alphabetical order. This week we are working with a soft pink called Bubble Bath. CARD 1: Country Flowers was my choice of stamps & dies for this week - it seems very popular with all the team members. Bright & Beautiful 6" X 6" DSP, still available through the online store, makes for an interesting background. These flowers are fun to colour, and always look stunning in any combination. My favourite way to colour is with Stampin' Blends. CARD 2: Another DSP which had a suggestion of Bubble Bath was Thoughtful Journey. It has pretty scenes on it which I like to bring to the front as a focal point. Countryside Corners Dies cut a series of sizes which can be used to create frames around the image. The patterned paper and Bubble Bath labels were cut the same size and layered in a staggered fashion. Two strips of ribbon were laid across the card with a bow to finish off. I wonder what Theresa Gerrard has shared in Bubble Bath? Let's hop over to check it out. If at any time you find a broken link or would like to see a full list of participants, please head to the blog of our host of the AWH Colour Creations Blog Hop, Catherine Proctor. Hi everyone, I am playing along this week with the challenge at Sunday Stamps. The challenge is to make a project using the colours in the graphic below. My guess of these colours is Pebbled Path, Shaded Spruce, Soft Sea Foam, Petal Pink and Sweet Sorbet. I have used all 5 colours on my card that I created using the Planted Paradise stamp set. The Basic White background was embossed using the Softly Sophisicated Embossing Folder, this was layered onto a Pebbled Path mat then a Basic White mat before being adhere to the Pebbled Path card base. The pots, cacti and leaves were all fussy cut, just a well that I enjoy fussy cutting, lol. I had no idea how I was going to arrange these elements on my card, so just played around with them until I liked the look of how I arranged them. The sentiment is from the Circle Sayings stamp set which I white heat embossed before fussy cutting, There is more of that fussy cutting, told you I enjoyed it. I finished with some Pebbled Path dots which help to fill in some of the white space. I hope you enjoyed this project. Thank you for visiting. Happy Thursday, everyone! The sketch from FMS is a favorite one of mine this week, because it features THREE elements! Love my threes! I just purchased the Choose Happy stamp set and couldn't wait to put it to good use on this fun sketch! So here we go: I selected three of the new In Colors: Summer Splash, Peach Pie and Petunia Pop, and cut a 1/2" strip from each of the DSP shades. I stamped the three images in Stazon Black ink, then used a blender pen and ink to color them all in: The new Spotlight on Nature circular dies are awesome! I popped each one up on a dimensional, added my sentiment, then at the last minute, added a strip of retired Black & White gingham for fun! That sentiment makes ME happy! Thanks for popping in today and I hope you "choose happy"! Enjoy your day and be blessed! Project Details—All Products SU!
